AMERICAN IDOL -THE FINALS!

It was all Jordin. Poor Blake had to sing the power ballad chosen as THE song, only to have Jordin take the stage after him and show the world how the song was intended to be sung. Add Jordin's reprise of Broken Wing, and he doesn't stand a chance. And his sequined argyle sweater vests are starting to get on my nerves...

Yet another lousy Idol song,6 seasons running! Oddly, I believed the lyrics far more by Blake, even though Jordin clearly sung it better. It stinks, regardless.

I'm with you DAME. I did not even watch it and don't really care who wins. Lost interest after last week when Melinda left.

Dame, did not watch. Our family has watched every idol for years, tonight Dancing with Stars. Serious departure. The show sucks and I will not watch it.

As talented as Jordin is, I wouldn't mind if Blake won. Why? Because Jordin's just another really talented girl singer, while Blake is something new and unique, and he's good at what he does.

I voted for Blake several hundred times. Melinda should have made it into the finals. In fact, she should have won. (Although, in the long run, it's probably better for her career that she didn't.) But since Melinda is out of the running, I'd give my left nut to see Blake win over Jorbacca.

Once again, a crap-ass coronation song. All of the original Idol tunes suck.
It was fun seeing Constantine in the audience. He looked so disheveled and stoned!
Was that Jennifer Hudson in the audience with glasses?

Jordin tore it up last night.
She sang the crap out of that single.
I voted for her like 100x: phone calls and text messages.
I think Jordin proved last night, she deserved to be in the final. Blake paled in comparsion, he had a few off notes and his performance of "She Will Be Loved" was kind of painful to watch.
I believed Jordin singing the words to "This Is My Now" than Blake. I don't know.
They had a song writing contest and still the song sounds like it was written by the Idol song-writers from seasons past.

That was a terrible song. No idea how it won the songwriting contest.
But I thought that Blake was still the best one out there. He is different and his voice is very nice. Jordin is quite blah and she had many off notes that the judges never pointed out. I hope Blake wins it tonight.

Everytime I see Blake's daddy I see Blake in twenty five years and that scares the bejezus out of me.

The only problem I have with Blake winning, and it is a minor complaint I know, is that he ummm....CAN'T SING!
PEACE.

I know I am picking nits. And since when is beat boxing "new and unique"? He just needs to throw in a little moon-walkin'. But that won't happen cuz he can't move, either.
PEACE.

I hate those stupid Idol songs, and they always clearly favor one type of singer over another, which I think it putting certain individuals at an advantage.
I just haven't been able to make myself care at all this season, last night was the first episode of the season I've actually sat through. Jordin is ridiculously talented, but I feel like there are so many ladies just like her already out there. Blake caught my eye because he was something NEW. I'd be interested to hear the type of music he'll make when he gets to cut his own album (and not the first **** album they produce with the Idol producers which are always DRECK).

Jordin was wonderful. Blake was terrible.
Which, of course, means Blake will win it.

Well, just think. Whether or not Jordin wins, she'll have a career.
If Blake wins, his career may go the way of Ruuuuuuuben's.

I desperately want that hour of my life back.
Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.
Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.
