Well, I think Taylor's got this one with flying colors. And, in my opinion, deservedly so.
I just hope people are voting based on whatthe performer has shown throughout the season, not tonight. Because Katharine OWNS Taylor throughout the season.
lol Actually, I think tonight was a perfect re-cap of the season. Katharine is a very good vocalist (though, she was plain boring tonight), but I don't get much more than that. She constantly leaves me cold. Taylor, on the other hand, has a soulful voice and a lot of energy. Not to mention, the warm and goofy charisma that I have come to like. He always gives 100%.

I reaally want Kat to win, I've loved her since day one. I hate to say it, but I think that Taylor has this in the bag...dammit oh well his first single is gonna be that sh*tty song, Kat's gonna get a record deal, work with amazing songwriters to write her first single and her single is gonna kick Taylor's ass

Uh, Broadway, Kat sounded a LOT better than that on any given night in the season, and she was a lot more relazed as well. She was definitely tense tonight, and they gave her a TERRIBLE song in a DREADFUL key for her voice while Taylor's song was just his style and in the perfect key.

Just because we think one person (cough TAYLOR cough) has it in the bag doesn't mean we can't try to have someone else (cough KATHARINE cough) win. Vote for Katharine even if you think it's a lost cause...we can still help her win by voting!

Um, no. It was just my opinion, and unlike you I managed to state it without disparaging you personally or any other posters here. Incredible, huh? I liked her initial audition, actually (God Bless the Child", but haven't really since then. And I (personally) thought she was over-praised for Rainbow. Her voice sounded pure and pretty--I'll give her that (she wasn't trying to hit the power notes she isn;t capable of), but it was all so staged to me. If I want to hear that song and feel magic, I'll listen to Judy. If I want to hear a version that moves me to tears, I'll listen to Eva Cassidy. Kat? Leaves me cold. I think she's as robotic as Carrie Underwood, except Carrie didn't rub me the wrong way.
I love Taylor's voice, his charisma, his musicianship, etc. My fave never wins, though (Bo Bice, Clay, etc.) THis was the year of the boys, IMO. I liked Taylor, Chris and Elliot. I think Mandisa and Paris sang circles around Kat, and were much better performers.
