wow. last night's episode. I think they may have crammed too much craziness in one hour. it's all over the place now. It made me think Bates Motel is going in another direction. Too much, guys, calm down. Every time you turn around, someone else gets killed, injured, goes off the deep end, lies, moves out, runs away,becomes a zombie, etc. Disappointed but still in love with the show for now.

See Jane I found this recent episode a nice way to close out some of the story lines and get the show back on track. It also helped develop the symbiotic relationship between Norman and his mother.

anyone watch tonight?? This show simply keeps getting better & better.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I agree - A MAZING! But I have one question. How come Norman was in the car with a huge bloody forehead (with that fabulous sick grin) at the end of last week, and at the start of this week, he had no sign of a bruise at all?

my goodness, that ending for tonight's episode was a total WTF!?! moment. I can't believe there's only two more episodes this season!!

I am begining to think this will not get a third season. I really don't see how they can get through a second season without really stretching the lines of credibility.

SNAFU, I don't know, I have thought that about other shows in the past (Breaking Bad comes to mind, for example), and obviously was wrong.

But this one is a prequel. Once they hit a certain point they will run right into the inspiration. I myself am finding my interest waning as the pieces of Norman and Mother's relationship fall into place and stage is pretty much set for the Hitchcock movie to kick in. Right down as to why Norman's mother's victim in the infamous shower scene was blond.

My interest hasn't waned one iota. I keep getting more and more engrossed with each episode. I feel that there's plenty of back-story left to unpeel. And I think it was smart not to have the entire show revolve around Norman and Mama Bates. The town has just as many, if not more, secrets than they do. With a 12 or 13 episode season, I can see it running for some time. Looking forward to Season 2 and beyond!

Luscious, I agree. But even Norman's story alone does not mean the series will be as short-lived as SNAFU predicts. Look at Smallville. We knew that was leading to Clark becoming Superman, and it lasted 10 seasons.

My interest keeps growing also, although I can't be sure if that would be true without Farmiga and Highmore. The two of them are spellbinding but for me it's all about Freddie Highmore. I could watch him recite the phone book. I know, I'm totally obsessed.

This was my favorite episode so far. Every scene was just wonderful, and actors have really hit their stride, including the recently introduced Jere Burns.
Oh, and those last 10 seconds? Bravo, Ms. Farmiga.

Loved the total weirdness of last night's episode.
Had to do a Norma tribute. That line was my favorite part. Slays me. (By the way, I realize my graphic skills suck, so I don't need anyone pointing that out. But feel free. lol)

yes, last night's episode was freaky. Can't believe we only get one more episode. I would assume the show will start airing season 2 in the Fall(Sept.)??

ACL2006, sometimes I miss the days when new seasons all started in the fall. Then again, stuff being scattered out means more new stuff to watch throughout the year. Anyway...
