I couldn't be happier it's Friday!

Most excited about my nephew going to his Prom tonight.  He has a smashing new tux, and is SO thrilled.  His sister is taking him.  I'm head over heels with happiness.  Except I WISH I COULD BE THERE!

I'd eat a donut but I have to try to fit into a dress this weekend.  And it ain't pretty at the moment.

How lovely to see J!  Happy weekend to you!

Brd, shake it off.  It's Tony weekend!

Hep, that all sounds pretty great, actually!  

Counting the hours until I can get out of here.  Big weekend plans!

Addy it was absolutely thrilling to see you at the Tonys last night!  I was watching with a friend of mine, and I screamed at the tv when I saw you during the featured actor in a musical category.

I was watching while sick in bed. They could've thrown a cement truck my way and I would've missed it. Where should I be looking for our dear Addy and Moonie?! I just read that back and my post is just full of shoulda, coulda, wouldas. Sorry 'bout that!

'Morning! Hep - I'll PM you a still shot from the awards with Addy and I in it. Eagle-eyed Jersey Girls2 spotted us and post the photo last night.

 

Back at work today. That's the problem with living in a fantasy world for two days - the other 5 days are all the more difficult.

I did at least go to the theater on Sunday - brilliant performance by a 10 year old Billy Elliot!

Downloaded Fun Home - not much fun or even any melody in that recording. 

Do now know if C21' boyfriend will ever find a job! *sighs*.  Lovable kid, but such an anxious mess!

The shot I caught was very early on in the show. I believe it was the end of the opening number. They cut to Christian Borle, then back to the stage, then to Sutton Foster, then someone else, then to Orfeh and Andy Karl. Our two lovelies were directly behind them. I jumped and squealed. My daughter came running over to see what was so exciting. I am sorry to say she wasn't that impressed.

Well, her "excuse" was that she had been up since 3:00am that morning for an early flight home from a business trip. She was exhausted and fell asleep. Honestly, isn't that what naps are for???

Mrs Brd did not want to cook and I did not have the fortitude to ask the regulars at our pub to watch the Tony Awards! 

Hot here today! Harvested lettuce for salad last night! Little things in life!
