Mrs. Brd lived in Newfoundland and Montreal in the 70's.
I was up at 4:45 and in the Loop at 6. We had a quick commute. Bus and Train tracker has changed commutes!

No one here this morning? Did everyone leave on vacation already? That's fine, I'll just sit here and post with myself.
Working from home today, and then hopefully meeting my sister to get my mom discharged.
Happy Happy Happy!

Glad to hear that she's finally able to go home. This has been a long siege for her - and for you!
I was at a funeral this morning, and have been working 'round the clock as I gear up for meetings in Chicago soon.
YWIW, that's such wonderful news. Home sweet home.
Moony, a vacation sounds pretty darn wonderful right about now!
****Popping by to wish everyone a great Holiday Weekend! Happy 4th, Y'all!! ****
Hope you all have a lovely 4th of July weekend!
No holiday down here. But, I did meet a fun American family, yesterday. I'm sure they will celebrate, even here in OZ!

Monday! Nice weekend and burial. 21 gun salute and Taps! Family fun. Stupid incident between sister and brother. Childlike!
Back to work!

LOL - I love it when Brd tweets on BWW. Succinct and to the point!
Nice weekend here, in between the rain storms. Can't beat Washington DC for a celebration on the Fourth!

Anyone notice we are now in "Chat Boards" according to the drop down menu?
No humping day. Any of your friends take Estrovan? You can guess why I am asking! (grumpy hot flashy wife)

I guess it takes awhile for the Estrovan to take effect!
C19 home from college late last night, have not spoken yet. Not a good year for her and much to discuss in the coming weeks.
TGIF to myself! This is now my new private chat board room.

Oh, Brd, I have not abandoned you! Yet.
Most folks post from the office and I think most adults took the week off from work except Addy and me. And Addy has the ticker tape parade right outside her office window, so I don't think she's looking at a computer anytime soon.
I have no knowledge or experience with Estrovan. Sorry, but I'm pretty much the perfect wife. *snort*
Sorry to hear about C19's school woes! That's a pretty tough year. Se may have to reassess her situation and make some changes. Better now than later.
Are you all getting away for vacation?

Unless she can convince the financial office to reinstate - she will not return to classes. She can take a gap year and try to get residency if she want to return to that state school.
We are going to Wisconsin for a week with the kids and my mother in law from your area. Was a lot of fun last year. Small modest cottages - lake is beautiful and we have access to a resort.
I assume nothing for you after Germany?

Hey there, Ms. Girly! Welcome to another week!
Brd - actually, I'm leaving for vacation this Thursday (Germany was SO not a vacation!). We're going to Sleepy Hollow, NY for a day and a half, then head on up to Maine. Just got to start finishing up projects here at the office before I leave, otherwise, they will follow me to Maine.
So sorry to hear about C 19! Sometimes you don't realize the opportunities you had until they are taken from you. It's a good chance to learn and grow.
Just dropping in to say hello to the Adults. Mooney, can you take me with you?
Just a lot of crap on my end.
Brd, I hope things rebound for C19, and wifey. I have no experience with it either, but am not quite there in my life.
Oh, how I would love to get East and see some of the wonderful shows playing now.
Happy Monday.
Back to the grind after 7 days out of the office. Fortunately, not too many fires to put out this morning, but a long to do list. Had a blast in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Did a really cool experience called "Escape the Room". Lots of variations, but basically you are locked in a room with a group of friends and all have to find the solution to locate the key to unlock the door within an hour. Definitely would be a VERY INTERESTING Framily experience. Taylor Dayne concert last night and Idina Menzel tomorrow night.

Um....so where was the key and how did you find it?

Is is a dark and spooky room?
Each of the companies doing them have different themes/scenarios. We had to solve many puzzles to find many keys that led to the final key. The room is completely normal and filled with objects to either assist you or distract you.
I think Tink did something like this recently. Not positive. It was part of an ep of Big Bang Theory, too.

Yes, on Big Bang.

*they said "bang"*
Just had to run through office systems/procedures with a new hire. He's disarmingly attractive in a thirty-something Republican Presidential candidate sort of way. #blindedbytheteeth
I just stalked Tink's FB page. Her group escaped a room a month ago with 31 seconds to spare.
