I think I missed Idina.
On this Thanksgiving Day, can I just tell you all how grateful I am for your friendships. I miss you all!
Happy Turkey Day everyone!

You had quite a whirlwind, YWIW!
I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving.
Now, on to the Tree Trimming Festivities!
Oh, my, YWIW! You've got your hands full!
In case I don't gush enough about y'all, thank you for being there for me, even when you were probably sick of my sh*t. Thank you loving me, even when I'm convinced I don't deserve it. Thank you for kicking my ass in gear when needed. Thank you for steering me in the right direction, so that I may one day become a successful adult woman with all that entails.
Whoa, that crazy looking. I'm just stopping by to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving! I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves!

Great Thanksgiving yesterday! My cousin made the turkey at her house and brought it over to her sister's, who did all the rest. It was nice to see the girls doing stuff the way they wanted to, without their mom putting in her two cents because they're not doing something her way.
My Goddaughter traced the kids hands, and with the help of the three year old, made turkeys out of them with those foam piece things. She used them for seating cards. I love stuff like that from the kids. I'm going to put a piece of magnet on the back and put it on the fridge.
Hope everyone had a nice day!

In a school in Dublin, no less. On the fourth floor. I'm in late.

Hey, did you ever get to South Pacific yet? I thought you were going in November, but I don't remember hearing about it.

I'm seeing SP on Christmas night, Girly.
Things are okay, Linnie - just doing final rounds of dishes, etc, from yesterday. It's nearly 5:00 in Ireland - what are you still doing at school?

Waiting for my mom to pick me up. She's missed some work what with this week's events, so she stayed a bit later than her usual 8-4 shift to catch up.
Bye!
Happy day after Turkey day all. Hope everyone had a great day yesterday, and the food coma has worn off.
BEST Thanksgiving possibly ever. I am still semi-foodcomatose though. But in a good way.
We had a fantastic day, loads of awesome food and great company. I zonked out around 8 pm, woke up briefly around 10 long enough to catch up with friends wondering where I was (we were supposed to meet out) and crawl into bed.
Today's weather is perfect to stay in and make some nice light food for dinner.
AND the ski forecast is awesome, if a bit late! So looking forward to ski season.
Hey All! Just got home from my parents' place. Had a great day and a half doing the family thing, but I'm definitely glad to be home.
Yes, I did see Idina in the parade! In fact, I got over to my parents' place later than planned because I was waiting at mine to see her. A girl's gotta have her priorities!
And, I want to add my thanks to all of my Peeps for coming into my life and making it better, even if it was in a weird and very unexpected way!
Edit: Oh, I meant the way that ya'll came into it was weird and not the ways you made it better, although that applies in some of the case too! LOL!
Yeah, yeah, we're all 'weird' in our little quirky ways!
Glad you didn't miss Idina! Course, I'm always hoping to see Taye hovering nearby.
I have a Godawful headache and have so much to do today. I think the Advil I took is starting to kick in. And my foot just got tangled in the power cord for my baby (laptop), which made it go landing on the floor. Luckily it's carpeted. Seems to be okay, though. I did curse up a storm when that happened.
Happy weekend, folksies!

Ahhhh moved in to new place
I had a lovely night from last night. One of my best friends from college and law school was in town, and after about 8 years of missing or not chatting with each other, we were able to catch up and had a wonderful time.
Lots of red wine, Thai food, and laughter.
It was lovely. And, I adore her new husband. What a way to welcome the holiday season.
