Off to vote. Save some drinkies for me, lushes!

4:00pm.
Margaritas.
Chili's.
I saw that, Girly. Exciting, no?
And did you see all the hand-wringing by the pundits about the choice of theatre? Truly laughable.

OK, Addy, I just want to follow you around the threads all day and say "Yeah - what SHE ^ said!" Honestly, SOME people need to grow the hell up.
So true, Moony. So true!
I voted two weeks ago, and now I sort'a wish I had waited and dropped off my ballot at the polling place. It's just a little anti-climactic. Meeting friends at a party downtown, and taking it from there. I could not sleep last night I was so anxious.

This household votes with absentee ballots - and after what we've experienced around here of late, we're not leaving the house at all today.
Hope all is well with everybody
Big Old Hugs to DG and the TinMan.
I may just sit at home with a nice glass of wine and watch the returns come in. I was invited to an Obama party, am thinking of just sitting home, and if the election goes the way I think it will, crying tears of joy and relief.
Tomorrow is another day ... I love how everyone is so energized. I truly feel the winds of change and hope ...
you are all so cute.
Oh, and after my first weekend somewhat with my foot in the dating pool - I want out, lol. Boys are stupid.
There's a pool? Is it heated?
I'm so full of nervous energy today that it's ridiculous! I'm starting to annoy myself.
nope - ice cold, shameys.
You don't want boys, Tink. You want men. There's a difference.
Maybe you should get some tips from Shira, she's racking up the dates.
*slides shot in Tink's direction and runs*
D2 - I'm not convinced there actually any staight men under 32 that are men.
I just hate it when chiche sayings come true. The one that I should not be thinking of is the one that won't leave my mind...meanwhile the safer and more normal options get put second. BLAH. Like I of all people really needed a reason to drink more.
Try 35, Tink.
or 40 ... or 60.
There are a few.
I don't think I can get any work done today.

Work? What work? I did field one phone call from a client. We are closing shop at 3:00 at the Mayor's request!
MT, I hear the same from one of my co-workers, her boyfriend of seven months had another secret girlfriend.
I'm off to get poked with needles. Yay!
I've gotten a little bit done today, but mainly because I'm leaving at 2:30 for my class this afternoon and don't want to be swamped tomorrow.

I want my damn margarita. Now.
Brd - you have an av! What is it?
DD, I, too, feel the winds of hope.
Except that when I read such stongly negative (in my opinion) remarks as those written in the 'sore winners' thread, I feel saddened. (The "Fourth Reich" comment, in particular)

It takes two to stand together.
That said, I'm an optimist. And I am looking forward to tonight. And tomorrow. And the days ahead.

Moonie - I could not control myself and had to walk to Grant Park at lunch. This is looking south toward the Victory Rally!!!!
Addy, I have really tried hard the last month to be more positive with my marriage and kids. (not easy for me being known as the grumpy dad)
Hey, people.
I'm off to Brisbane this morning. A little bit of family business. Could I bring something home for you? Before anyone yells, 'Hugh Jackman', please be advised that he is in LA for Motion Picture Fund do this week.
