Here and in Arizona, we get miles and miles of Poppies mixed with Lupen. Absolutely one of my favorite things.

This is also the time of year the ice plant blooms. There are entire slopes and banks of it all over - and when the sun hits them, the intense pink is so radiant it looks like it's lit from within.

The ice plant actually comes in different colors, pink is just the most common. But whatever color, it's always that electric kind of presentation. There's a house around the corner that has the whole bank behind them covered in mixed colors. It looks like a huge patchwork quilt electrified.

And I WISH I knew had to upload pictures off our digital camera. I just saw out back that a little Petunia has popped up from seeds from last yeat. It's a violet/pink color - and it's nesstled into some dandelions! So now, Mamie's out back while I'm working

Cookie, there's a town about 30 minutes west of us on Lake Michigan named Holland and they have a tulip festival starting right now with gobs of tulips like that everywhere!

DG - are you on a PC, with Windows? If so, all you need to do is plug in your camera and turn it on. The Windows package comes with software that will automatically upload your pictures for you.

Mamie - I know it's supposed to work that way, but we've had trouble with it from the beginning.

Then of course, there's the issue of getting them on here. I read your instructions the other day to Addict - and I said "YES" at the end when you asked if it was clear as mud
