Hello everyone!
I am so jealous of the things you are getting to do/see.
Why oh why must I live at the other end of the state?!

Just a little setback, A little tired and sore but give me a couple of weeks and I'll be good as new.
That was a terrible scare.
Caught up on Desperate Housewives with Boobs tonight. Also got to watch the Liza on Showtime that he Tivo'd. It was a Special Edition with added back-up vocals and choreography by the Boobster!

Hugs back, Cookie.
I just made buttered noodles with breadcrumb topping, tossed salad, and brownies. My roast in the crockport covered with dry onion soup mix and a can of Pepsi (a recipe from a friend) and it will be ready in two more hours.
I done good today--after sleeping heavily thanks to my cold medicine.
More later...

Hey everyone! Blue skies in Michigan today, Cookie, so hopefully they are headed your way!!
Has anybody heard anything at all from DG since last Wednesday? He seems to have disappeared since he left the Paramount Hotel. (Maybe he never left! Maybe they're holding him hostage in the torture bed!)
Anyway - I think he was going home today.
DG & ck are MIA?
So it seems. He was on here a lot up through Wednesday and then nothing at all. I hope they're all right!
It must mean he is actually getting some sleep and perhaps getting into a wee bit more trouble now that he can recharge his batteries at night!

Hello - just checking in here, but from home. I'm sorry I missed posting here during the rest of the visit - but it's all tied up in what turned out to be not a very pleasant vacation. At some point, I'll post a few thoughts about what I thought of the shows we saw.
Mamie - I'm so excited to see you in this neighborhood.
Addy - despite a broken heart over our missed opportunity, I hold onto the idea that other chances will exist.
I did get one very special unplanned event my last night in town. Jerby and I were going out for a cocktail, ended up at the Duplex, and I got to not only spend the evening with him, but Robbie and Eddie as well. What a TREAT!
I'm sorry not to have been able to see more of my friends while in town, but sometimes that's the way it unfolds - unfortunately (on many levels.)
Oh - I'm so happy to hear from you! I really was beginning to worry about you. I'm glad you're home but sorry that the trip wasn't everything you hoped it would be. Maybe after you get some rest you can write more about it.

DG, I wondered why you were not posting. Unpleasant, that is unpleasant! I hope all is well!
DG - glad to know you made it back home safely.
So excited about tonight's Stephen Schwartz evening...

Hey all! Overcast in San Francisco today! Big surprise - NOT! lol. Going out to look at Bikes today. One of my co-workers (a straight woman) came out to me as being HIV-Positive last week. We have decided to start training for the AIDS Lifecycle. We are wanting to do the June 2007 tour - and I really have no idea what I am looking for. At any rate - shopping is a great thing to take away those rainy day blues!
DG - Glad you arrived home safely. Looking forward to your reviews and news.
It's been an emotional and stress filled week at work - I actually told one of the managers that if I showed up on Monday, it would be a stroke of luck. Of course now that it is Sunday, I am feeling much more centered about events. All this without drinking myself into a stupor too! Hmmmm.
I do get to see Swan Lake this Wednesday - that's a good thing!
Have a great day everybody!
Hello all adults - Just returned today from my trip to NYC. Want to thank all the super BWW'ers that I met on my trip. It made the trip so much more fun. Now if I can just remember all the people I met. I've been trying to remember, but after nine days and 13 shows and various other activities my brain is sort of mush. I wish now I had taken pictures of everyone and labeled them so I could remember who's who. Guess I'll just have to make another trip to NY soon. Today has been an adjustment back to the reality of life. Left for the airport at 4:00am for a 6:00am flight, went to brunch, then to a community theater production of The Wizard of Oz that my step-grandson was in. Talk about culture shock after broadway. It actually was ok for community theater, but it was pretty funny when Dorothy tried to sing over the rainbow with a real live dog that kept barking for the treats that she was feeding the dog to keep it performing on stage. Anyway glad I'm home but I already miss NY and Grey's Anatomy is a rerun tonight.
NYC feels a bit emptier without you here!
It was WONDERFUL to meet you. And I'm so glad you had such a fulfilling trip... come back soon!
Just wanted to say hi to all the 'adults'. Hope weekends were wonderful and you all have a beautiful, happy and productive week.
Thanks Addy - It was great meeting you also. Do you still have your jury duty? I had jury duty for the first time two years ago and I found it mentally and physically exhausting because I felt like I had to really pay attention and not just zone out like I'm good at especially at church.
Thank you, Addie. I've got a job interview on Tuesday so I'm going to get my hair done tomorrow and go shopping for a new 'interview' suit. Keeping my fingers crossed. (I'm about a half step away from bag lady status right now.)
I do have one big happy event to look forward to this week. On Thursday Miss Pennywise, miss pennywise jr., and myself will gather for a ladies lunch at the zoo. I'm really looking forward to that event!
I am still on jury duty, bwayaddict... and it is both physically and emotionally tiring. The combination of lots of waiting and intense concentration. It's important, but I'm looking forward to when it ends.
Mamie, wishing you all the best with the interview! Keep us posted!
Having special events to look forward to certainly makes a week happy.
