Don't want to make people sick, Cheeze! That made me laugh when I read it! But, I suppose it's important to point out!
mvillalobos - glad to have you here!
sorbets and summer just go together!
Hi, mvillalobos! *waves to cookie*
My first double post *cries*
waves to soapguy! It happens to the best of us!
I can't believe they start performances so soon, cheeze! Didn't rehearsals just start two weeks ago?
It happens to all of us sooner or later, soapguy!
and cheeze - I can't WAIT to see it in New York! I'm going to TRY to stay away from reviews from the SF run... I want it to be fresh to me when I see it in NY. We'll see how much self-control I have!
full of firsts today! This is nice.
Addy- sorbet in the summer makes me happier than a kitten chasing a leaky cow!
Talk about an image, mvillalobos!
Harris would love that image!
I, too, love sorbet in the summer! With some blueberries and/or raspberries... heaven!
Cookie, that looks delicious!
That'd look beautiful If didn't know there was some of that pesky alcohol in there.
Nope. Rose petal sorbet served in martini glasses...
Ya mean bubbly?
Yep, at a wedding a few months ago I though a glass of champagne was ginger ale. After one sip I think I spit it out on my grandmother.
the bubbles make my nose tickle... who said that? What? It really looks delicious, cookie.
Well, not everyone loves it.
But, I will admit it's my favorite!
*giggles* I'm sure It's one of those things that take getting used too. I'm just too lazy to do it. And, it's illegal anyways.
An acquired taste...
Though I think I acquired it when I was born!

Man - our air conditioning in the building blew! (hence the absense) OY!
I can't believe Chorus Line is here already either. Everytime I go into the subway and see the ads I get a little choked up.
Good stuff.
My taste for champagne was acquired when I was 12. That was the first time my dad let me drink it. It remains the only alcoholic beverage that I can drink and drink and drink, never get drunk on, never get tired of and never get a migraine from. It is god's gift to me personally, which is how I know there IS a god.
My daughter's first taste of champagne came at 18 months. It took both me and my husband to pry the champagne glass out of her hands. (I'm not making this up.)
The only time I came to France and didn't drink champagne, everyone said, "No! It can't be true!" Then someone finally guessed, "She must be pregnant!" And they were right.
Pregnant in France eh? I could go for a glass of Veuve right about now.
I used to hate champagne, until my sister's chef boyfriend started bringing home the best raspberry champagne. And that's how it started.
Mmmmmmm raspberry champagne..I'll have to try that. Sounds like that will wet my thirst.
Oh boobsie. It's amazing. Last week we had some with this friend that collects wine and champagne, and it was SO good. Very refreshing. You drink it like pop. Doesn't quite have the same effect as pop, though.
I promise that the next time I'm in NYC with all of you, we will share a bottle of champagne that I will carry home with me on August 11. I may even sabre it.
How many do you think will attending?
