ACK! I'm going CRAZY!!!!!!

Tonight is the Prom, fllowed by Post Prom party at Dave & Busters from midnight to 4:00am. Guess who's in charge of both? I was up all night, worrying about details. Adrenaline and massive amounts of coffee are getting me through the day. It doesn't help that today is also 420. The students and I had a "come to Jesus" meeting yesterday about not screwing up the night.I ended my speech by telling thjem how much I love them and want them to be happy and safe. They applauded.Now let's see if they behave.

Morning peeps! Successful party on Saturday. As usual I had enough food to feed an army. Italian egg rolls were a hit! The 3 pounds of penne ala vodka finished! Still working on the sprial ham.

It was tons of fun, brd. It's funny all the convsersations that went on that night. One friend works with fertility patients, another with colonoscopies and yet another is the puppet master for The Lion King. Now imagine consuming alcohol and the stories getting intertwined. I was getting tired of trying to explain that Simba was not impetant and that Lions don't need to go for a colonoscopy when they turn 50.

Evening adults. Mom was back in the ER last night - In honor of Camp Akiba summer camp (which I was a counselor at for many of summers), it kind of goes like this - "third visit, same as the first, a little bit louder but not much worse ..."

3 times in less than 10 months. Ugh. At least it happened before I left for Scotland.

I hope everyone had a better Sunday night/Monday than I!
