Betty's great in the tub. She really doesn't mind the bathing at all. Probably since poodles are water dogs and she loves the snow and rain outside. It's the grooming where she gets all squirmy. It's like trying to restrain a Water Wiggle on full blast. She thinks it's all fun and games, but you're terrified someone will get maimed in the process.
Cavs are supposed to love water too, but so far Max hasn't been displaying too many Cav traits except loving to cuddle. Which is usually the prologue and epilogue to full-on lunatic.
While in Aspen two years ago I ate lunch next to an elderly couple with a stroller, which seemed curious. At some point we engaged in conversation and I inquired as to the stroller -- (grandchild?), only to find out that in the stroller was their Cav. They took him EVERYWHERE in the stroller. If you ever get to that point, we WILL HAVE a framily intervention.

Trust me, that's not going to happen. I'm freaked out when I see that too, SoMMS.
That pup is all kinds of adorable, Deet.
Last time I was in NY - a while ago - I saw two fellas pushing their yorkiepoo in a stroller. The dog was also wearing little pink boots. Any chance you'll be goin' the boot route, Deet?
NFW, Hep.
We love him, but he's a dog. A towel by the front door to wipe his feet when we come back upstairs will be just fine.
Opening weekend down, *almost* sold out. Looking forward to Monday's industry night.
Mornin'
Glad to hear it, DD -- I hope you're SRO every night!
Good morning, kids. I hate when fun weekends end. Back to the grind.

Well, that was a fast weekend. Can't believe we're back to a Monday again.
DD - so please the opening weekend went well! Here's to every seat filled with an appreciative patron!
Rumor has it that there are muffins in the faculty room. It's my duty to verify information like this.
Morning!
Morning peeps! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Golfing was fun! I did better than I expected. I even got some color from the little bit of sun that peeked through the clouds. Friday night I saw "The Avengers" on an IMAX in 3D. Lots of fun! Saturday saw "Wicked" I just adore that show! Funny that on the way in I was talking about Donna Vivino and in our Playbill was an insert that she would be playing Elphaba at this performance. That girl kicked ass!!! Yesterday my old friend, John (you all met him in D.C.) came over for dinner. We had a lovely day catching up. Now back to work. Too many emails to catch up on. That's the only thing that sucks with having a day off.
I'd love to see Donna do the show -- and y'all know how I feel about that show!
Taking a breather from Max duty for a few minutes, looking at the little angel asleep in his bed and finding it hard to believe the little f*cker has enough strength to knock the gates out of their frames.
Good morning! It's glorious in the Great Pacific Northwest - starting the day with a dentist appointment. Woo-hoo!
Two reviews out - one liked the show, but she spent 6 paragraphs trashing Lorca and two lines giving us kudos how we managed to entertain her regardless of the play; and one from someone that did not like the play itself either, but thought we did an ok job. No pullquotes for me yet ... keeping fingers crossed for the other three that come out later this week.
Deet - you'll be surprised at what the little frackers can do. The things Walter did as a puppy ... I miss the little bugger.
My cat pushed a 19 inch tv off a table. Nothing is beyond the little darlings capabilities.
I'm sensing that.
He's getting less frightened of being outside now. I took him for his longest sustained walk yet -- around the block -- and he was remained relatively calm and even excited at points. He still has no clue why he's outside, but that will come in time.
I hope.
I saw Donna Vivino in Wicked in Chicago and her vocals were INSANE! The girl packs a punch.
Another week goes by and I still haven't won the lottery. So much for the American Dream.
I once learned my lesson when I left some chicken out defrosting. I kept hearing a "thump, thump thump" and a cat (who had to be returned because she did not play well with my first cat Gorky), had taken the chicken breast, opened the package, and was picking up pieces.
Zander just knocks crap over to watch it fall. I have lost more than one glass bowl thanks to his curiosity.
Zorra is my good girl. She just destroys the rug.
We see Wicked in October ... no idea whom we are seeing, though. The B'way at the Paramount season is such that we opted to splurge and get season tickets. I finally get to see Book of Mormon in January.
I still haven't seen BOOK OF MORMON, DD. I know I'm supposed to be dying to see it, and I know I'll probably enjoy it, too, but for some reason I have this "Meh, I'll see it when I see it" attitude about it.
Mornin'
I'm with ya, D2! We still need to work on getting POTO tickets soon! :)
Morning! Had a vendor dinner that lasted until 9pm last night. I am not designed to be charming and pleasant that long. Thank heavens for the Sangria.
You remain charming and pleasant when we spend that much time together, Tink!
I just took Max for his morning walk -- he's starting to get the idea about why he has to be outside, and at one it point looked like he was getting ready to go when a huge bus rumbled past and startled him. Unfortunately, it didn't scare the crap out of him.
Ba dum bum.
Morning peeps!
Deet, my Golden, Logan would only go on grass. This was a bitch during a snow storm. I'd always have to shovel the lawn!
