I'm extremely busy with my staff slowly leaving the nest. Boss last day is Friday. Although he seriously checked out 2 weeks ago.

So they're taking my boss out for drinks tonight being tomorrow is his last day. I fought with myself about going, but I think I'll pass. He's never really been much of a boss. Does not know how to manage. Plus since he gave notice of his departure he has come and gone as he pleases without even a "I'm leaving for the day" I find him to be very unprofessional. He has allowed staff to come in at all times of the morning. One staff he allows to work in our NY office being he lives in Brooklyn. Now I'm stuck with all these things I would have never allowed. I'm down to 4 people and he's even approved of 2 of my staff to have off the same days for a wedding after he's gone. WTF? No one has even talked about what is going to happen once he is gone. Good times!!!

Last day of exams here. I have a hair appointment at 3:00pm or I'd totally do drinks with Deet, Boobs, HC and my cuz.

I have to say, I was awake most of the night, worried about a mutual friend of ours.

6:30 meeting that I cannot do from home (cleaning lady day - I know, as the skit goes, White People Problems).

I got put on a super big deal project, which is great for me professionally, but GAH - I hate getting up at 5AM.

And Mooney, me too. I was wondering if there is anything we could do or send as a group that would be helpful or lift spirits.

We're drinking?? Count me in! I could for one or two or 10!! For a four day week, this one sure seems like twice a normal week. Why does that always happen with a holiday week? UGH!

Moony - thank you. I blocked all group updates as I belong to a few that get excessive, so didn't see the newest update! Many Many Many good thoughts being sent that way!

I really can't complain. I haven't worked a full week since the first week of this month. This week starts 3PM Fridays, and I am off Weds-Fri next week. I mean I hate this place with a passion I can't describe, but other than that, I can't complain! lol
