I didn't sleep, either...
We'll definitely want to send something hip-pie! (That's perfect, Boobs!). As soon as I have a few details, we can figure out the best plan.
I'd just like to take a moment to share my gratitude for the friendships formed here. My love to you all.

Love it!!!
I went outside and read at lunch. What an amazing day it is!
And some happy thoughts for the day:
"Promise Yourself
To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel
that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only for the best,
and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times
and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear,
and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world,
not in loud words but great deeds.
To live in faith that the whole world is on your side
so long as you are true to the best that is in you. ”

I'll be cozying up to Anna Karenina for the next few weeks. I can't believe I have never read it.
G'morning
I didn't sleep well last night. Remnants of a migraine and a heavy heart.
I didn't sleep well, either. Again.
Between work (which went into the wee hours) and worries, it's a trying time.
Off I go to the office to get an early start on the day...
It WAS nice to have my windows open when I got home with the cool, clear air. Please let this last.
Happy Friday to all. To life!
Can't believe it's June...
ps - Happy National Donut Day!
(I was just reading the history of the day - interesting!)

It's National Donut Day, y'all!
Add me to the growing list of non-sleepers. Again. I finally got up at 1:00am and took a Benedryl. Now I'm groggy. It's dark and drizzly outside - good time for a nap.
After the donut, of course.
Morning all.
Sorry about the heavy heard D2.
Sorry about the lack of sleep Addy. Been there.
Bluemoon if there's a raspberry jelly filled in there, I'll take it!
Morning peeps! It must be something in the air because I didn't sleep well either. My shoulder has really been hurting and kept waking me up out of a sound sleep.
Tomorrow seeing "Priscilla" again. Sunday have a tricky tray. It's for a theatre group and each table has to go dressed as a current show on B'way. My friends come up with "The Lion King" being someone found napkins and stuff to decorate the table. I got an "African shirt & hat" to wear. Should be fun!
BTW Dunkin Donuts was given out free donuts today.

Dottie - there WAS one in there. WAS.
Boobs - what are TS's plans after June? Hubby was asking about TT last night - is he still in NYC?
Yes, several people came in with donuts for all this morning. There doesn't seem to be any Boston Creme so my diet is safe for the moment.
Morning all. Happy Friday - may it be full of positive news for the framily!

Love the new av, Tink!
Moony, not sure what his plans are right now. Did I mention he became a US citizen? Hopefully he'll be up for a cup of coffee after the show and we can catch up. TT is back in NY. I know he was working on something with Tovah Feldshuh, but not sure if that continued after his return. We need to get him US citizenship now.
:)
Good morning, kids. I tossed and turned a bit last night but then slept in this morning. I'm seeing Miss Cheno tonight at the Academy of Music from the third row; as well as a little visit to her dressing room.

How wonderful! Solo concert?
Yes, her first. She's in NYC tomorrow night and then at the DAR on the 10th.

The 10th? That's Tony Awards night - she needs to be at the Beacon!
Two friends of mine who've been together for 24 years are getting married on June 10. What kind of homoes, in the theater no less, plan their wedding for Tony Day!?! Don't they remember we all have plans that night!?!

Wow - that is SO inappropriate! They have 364 other days to choose from!
are they at least having a Tony viewing party as their reception?
