G'morning.
We watched "Law & Order: SVU" last night. One of the best season finales EVER, with a great cliffhanger ending to lead into the final season next fall. (Yes, I do miss Meloni but I'm also in love with Mariska Hargitay.)
Max is much, much better. I'm taking him in to the vet tomorrow to get his little lethal nails clipped and will get an official progress report then.

LOVED the Revenge finale. Too good to watch just once. It's going to be a loooong summer, waiting for next season.
I'm in charge of twp big events here today, so not much time to play. On my way to a wholesale florist, school credit card in hand.
Stop off at Lord & Taylor as well, Moony.

Spent an hour and mucho moola there last night, Deet.
Morning. I will try and catch Revenge tonight.
Otherwise, nothing to exciting to report.
Had a chance for a free ticket and backstage tour to Evita last night. But it was Community Service Mom Wednesday and she's been in a funk for the past few days, so I declined and went and sat with mom and cousin. One day, karma will repay me, right?
Otherwise, still in a sling.
Oh, Tink... that's a line that is destined to be someone's quote!
Karma will repay you, for sure. Good deeds DO get rewarded.
Is it bad that my first thought this morning was that I can't WAIT to get home after work and re-watch Revenge?? SO hooked on that show. It's going to be a long summer...
Still feeling like I swallowed glass. And haven't slept well due to this persistent cough. Good times. At least a long weekend is coming and I can (try) to take it easy for a bit.
I have to do some shopping. I need a new dress or something for the Tony's. This has not been a kind year to my waistline, and I don't fit in anything. (I need to hire Tink to motivate me to get with the program!
Glad to hear Max is feeling better.
SVU, eh? I watch it from time to time, but not consistently. I didn't realize there would be a cliffhanger.
And, Modern Family was laugh out loud funny. Great night of TV last night.
I turned into American Idol for about 20 minutes (hoping to catch a certain commercial, to make sure it ran where promised), and would like that 20 minutes of my life back. The Bee Gees medly was so flat. I loved that they did it - a sweet tribute - but the execution was lacking. Turned it off after Jennifer Holliday.
That's it from my world. This humidity is making me craky.
So, I'm having a coffee cake muffin.
Happy Thursday, kids.
Laters
This made me happy...well one of them anyway. 3 of them I feel bad about....

lol, Addy, we will start with putting down the Coffee Cake Muffin! :)
Boobs - I'm just upset about BDJ, but only for him being out of a job. Otherwise, I'm so glad he gets to distance himself from the awful situation they have been writing for him.
dang. I like BDJ. I actually also like Dev, will be sad to see him go. I just hope they make the show better. I only watched it this time because I felt like I *should* ... but they can't keep me that way for long.
Weird to look at my schedule for the next few months ... free. I have no idea what to do with myself.
Okay, it's been 24 hours and I'm still sitting stunned at the Idol finale. What the heck was that? It'll take weeks of PBS Great Performances to repair the damage.
So glad that Max is feeling better. Poor little thing.
It is late Autumn here. Today is cold and rainy. From my kitchen I have a lovely view of parks and gardens. There is one particular tree that has been shedding its russet leaves slowly for the past two weeks. It still has a suggestion of warm colour, but the tracery of its branches is obvious and wonderfully symmetrical . The best part, though, is the perfect spread of autumn leaves below. You wouldn't believe the numbers of people who stop, scuffle, take photos and merely stare at that tree and its colourful puddle. I can't help but smile. And I don't have to step outside the warmth of my kitchen to enjoy the beauty.

Hep - I have to tell you how much I love your posts. It's hot, humid and sticky here (too much so for the month of May) and the vision of late autumn you paint is glorious in my mind's eye. Thanks for transporting me.
OK, time to go home and put my sore feet up. I was not built for high heels.
Good morning, you gorgeous group of poppies. Anyone want to join me in beating the $hit out of someone today? I don't have any candidates. I just feel like taking my frustrations out on some poor soul. I am taking suggestions.
Morning!
1/2 day today then hopefully weather clears a bit so I can go see some sailors!!!
Morning peeps! It was so nice being in bed by 9:30 last night with no shows to watch
JG2, I'm always up for beating the s$it out of someone. Some on this site as a matter of fact. Too bad I don't have their addresses.
You have my address, Boobs, so "WHEW!!!"
Just finished grading for the semester, so now I'm officially DONE! There will be quite a few surprised students though -- they all tend to forget that participation, absences and lateness are factored into the final grade. In fact, some usual A students (who have a history of skipping classes or waltzing in an hour or more late) have netted out at C+, probably for the first time in their lives. Hehehehehehehehehe...
Hey Kids!
I'm just gonna sit here and pretend I know what everyone is talking about.
Oh, but we're getting Revenge here soon. I'm very excited about this. Sara needs convincing, but it took me forever to get her to watch The Good Wife and now it's one of her must sees.
So, how is everyone?
Tink, what's up with your arm?

GASP!!!
I was so not expecting this guest appearance! I'm THRILLED!!!!
How the heck are you, Shamey? You're looking great in certain photos - jealous!
YSB!!!!!
Loved the photos! Looks like a fab trip
Just get Sara to watch the first episode with you. She'll be hooked. I re-watched the season finale last night when I got home. Thrilling. Amazing show.
I'm off today. Yippee! I don't even mind that it's sort of rainy. It's the perfect day to stay home with a book or a good movie.
Saw Iflit last night in the hospital. Strong woman. Send good thoughts her way.
JG2 - I'll help you with the beating. But, want to let it all out with some really fun singing and dancing, instead? Grab your hairbrush and let's have a tiara-pajama-wearing dance party! First song can be 'I Will Survive' if you want!
Happy Friday to all.
LS!!!!! *Big Hugs & Kisses* You tell my sister-in-laws she MUST watch REVENGE for me! I know she'll do it
How's life on your side of the pond? Only 4 more months!!!! HC better get his passport or I'll be coming alone.
Nothing's so bad when you can wear a tiara and sing into a hairbrush/microphone!
SHAMEY!!!
I'm hoping to visit IFlit this weekend, possibly this afternoon but I think J2 wants to come too so it may have to be tomorrow.
Oh, and Deet - can't wait to hear the reactions when your usually-A students get their reality check!
I did that recently in performance reviews. Yep. Attitude, attendance and professionalism counts. You might have an outstanding grasp of how to do what you do, but, you don't deliver what is needed to truly succeed... I wasn't born yesterday. I don't buy the bs.
Re: Iflit - She was hoping to get her room changed so she could have a bed near the window. Hope they're able to do that for her!
I might try to head back over again today, as well, as I'm not heading out of town until tomorrow.
Also, meant to mention in my first post, that I'm with Moony: I love Hep's post. I always love reading what Hep writes, but this particular thought of early Autumn made me feel cool and transported me away from summer stickiness.
Hello, my lovely Peeps!
I can honestly say that I'm excellent. I'm lovin' life, but I do miss you all very much. Glad you like the pictures.
YSB, it was a great trip! We'd definitely love to go back, but I get less vacation than she does, so we agreed to save our longer holidays for the States and just do long weekends in England and Europe, if we can manage that.
I need to see my framily and my family!
Ok, BB, why HC? I'm so out of touch. LOL!
I love to hear that you're lovin' life!
THAT makes me SO happy!
Long weekends in England and Europe sound good to me. As does a vacation in the States!
Miss you very much, right back at ya!
