See, I was counting on my casino income to travel. Now I have to invest in IKEA stock. Not as much fun.
Maybe you're related to Cami? And thus to Amber by marriage?

That would be the only silver lining. Or as we say, silverfoder.
And chokladbolls.

That made my day. Or at least my page.
Boobs had some delicious chokladbolls just last night.

Not going near that one.
Apparently no one was.

'Morning!
Great day and night of baseball yesterday! I hear there was some sort of debate going on but really - who could debate the outcome of those games?
G'morning!
We watched the debate last night. Meh. I probably would have enjoyed the baseball more.
A friend of mine put it most succinctly:"Anyone who knows the facts will clearly see Romney was lying through his teeth. For those who don't know the facts, Obama looked weak."
The most entertaining aspect of the whole thing were the Facebook posts from both sides ( yes, somehow I have "friends" on both sides of the issue ) and the way they were often desperate to score points for their side: "Look at Mitt, he's sweating!" ( I didn't see this ) "Look at Obama, he knows he's lost!" ( I didn't see this ) etc...
What I saw was a better than expected Romney and a cooler than usual Obama skirting around issues. While my mind is already made up, I do wish we had a three or four party system.
/political rant
Morning.
I cleaned and caught up on TiVo, but was impressed with the number of friends I had watching the debate.
Lets go Yankees!
I completely avoided both the debate and facebook. I watched "After Top Chef" instead.

I figured that I already know who I'm voting for and I have little tolerance for political posturing, which is really what these "debates" are all about. Who's gonna falter first? Who's got the best soundbite? Who's sweating more? It's a game and I prefer to watch the one that involves skill, not packaging.
I fell into the trap, but I'm going to take "The Moony Route" for the next three.
In other news, little Max has a big day ahead of him: he's going to go to Doggie Day Care this afternoon while I go to meetings, class and then my evening writing class.
It will be good for him to socialize with other dogs, right?
RIGHT?
yes, it is D2!!
And feel better!

Hee hee. Can't wait to hear the tales of all the bad tricks he picks up from his daycare friends. How long before he joins a gang?
I can handle bad tricks.
(Wait, that's not what I mean and you know it.)
I'm more concerned with him picking up a germ or two, or getting into trouble with a more aggressive dog.
I feel like Lucy Ricardo when she sent Little Ricky to Nursery School for the first time.
And Little Ricky came home with tonsillitis.

Hi! I am alive, barely. Don't know how I avoided getting sick, it almost had me yesterday and lo and behold I've skirted it yet again. Everyone in the cast and crew is sick! I guess that's what happens when everyone is making out with everyone else.
Well, almost everyone.
DD, take care of yourself! And tell those frisky cast and crew members of yours to steer clear of you with their germs!
Quick hi. And another 'bye'. Flying out again in the morning. Super early flight, so hopefully I'll be able to get out of the office soon, so I can get to bed at a decent hour.
Will be back mid-week, so have fun until then. Cheers.
Good morning, kids. Late night, early morning is not a good combo.

Geez - are you and I the only ones up and around today? Where the hell is the breakfast party and why were we not invited?
That said, am I the only person off on Monday?
