Deet - we went to The Descendants yesterday afternoon too!
So mad at Seattle Snomageddon 2012. They were predicting snow and ice, and everyone freaked out so wound up canceling rehearsals (mind you, I only have four of them) and it was supposed to be over by Wednesday. Well, here we are, 2 am, snow isn't falling yet, and now they say the worst part is going to hit Wednesday evening, which means I might lose *two* rehearsals. Argh!
Good morning, kids. DO.NOT.WANT.TO.BE.BACK.
Morning!
Sorry, SOMMS, hopefully the day will go by fast. My day should be quiet *knock on wood*, I'm just waiting for the meds to kick in. I'm a sore person today.
I want to see The Decendents but first is Ides of March. I meant to catch that in the theaters.

ME. NEITHER.
That said, what did you think of MA on Saturday night>
Like the winner. So glad that last year's is gone. I liked the entire top 15 and had predicted all but two of them. HATED the eliminations and BEYOND HATED that embarrassment of having the gals line up behind the three to 'save'. Total trainwreck.

Yeah, I hated that as well. Not all changes are good changes and I hope to hell they drop that one real fast. Public humiliation anyone? I loved Miss New York and was pulling for her.
I also liked her. Rumors are circulating that the pageant is leaving Las Vegas and moving to Biloxi, MS next year.
I'm bad. I didn't realize it was on, til it was over.
And the Priscilla Diva's are on PLJ right now. They're trying to convince Scott and Todd to come to the show and dance on stage.

Morning peeps! I HATE the day after a U.S. holiday. It seems the rest of the world could give a flying crap that no one is here in the office. I love how they demand answers and keep sending emails getting more and more huffy. What's that aboot!!! Dear friends in Canada, the U.S. markets are closed, so we cannot make deliveries when no one is in the office. Take it up with the SEC if you have problems with it. I won't even start on how many holidays they have and we deal with it. We actually celebrate Yes I am a tad testie today. Thanks to Joop who didn't want to go to the bathroom when she got in bed last night. She thought crying at 2 a.m. until daddy got up and let her out is perfectly acceptable. I couldn't fall back to sleep. She is at the top of my sh*t list today!!!
Girly, you are dead to me.
But, your pizza dip was a HUGE success at the Miss America Party. I had to make it twice.
Sowwy, Somms. I never even saw any commercials for it! And YAY for Pizza dip!
Poor babygirl didn't have to go before she went to bed!

I only saw one commercial, Girly. It was one of those ten second jobs, and I saw it on Saturday. WTF?
Mornin'
Storm clouds have passed, and attitude adjustment in place. Thanks!

Wine party at Boobs house!
Wineries from New Jersey to California can now sell their vintages directly to consumers and retailers under a bill pushed by Democrats in the Legislature and signed today by Gov. Chris Christie.
"New Jerseys wines are now considered among some of the best in the nation, but rules and regulations had suffocated the industry for far too long," Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D-Gloucester) said in a statement. "That will all now change."
The winery bill was the most embattled of the 214th Legislature's final session last week, with Sweeney working late into the night behind closed doors to round up the votes needed for the measure to pass.
The bill's signing kicked off a busy day in Trenton that includes the swearing in of new lawmakers, Christie's annual State of the State address and expected action on about 100 bills on the governor's desk.
Those bills include:
S1988: Phases out the states 6 percent tax on cosmetic surgery procedures, such as breast enhancements and Botox injections. Proponents say New Jersey is the only state that levies such a tax, which raises $10.8 million annually.
S3148: Moves school board elections from April to November, when more voters take to the polls, and ends the publics right to votes on budgets unless they exceed the 2 percent property tax cap.
A1080. Makes it legal during off-peak times for the general public to park in permit parking spaces normally reserved for New Jersey Transit train passengers.
A4366: Removes states 72-hour waiting period for marriage and civil union licenses and establishes a 30-day window to get an annulment without cause.
A4285 and S3113: Allows off-track betting on horse races at bars and restaurants in 12 counties as part of a pilot program and approves betting on professional and college sports in case a federal ban on the gambling is lifted.
S3166: Bans political fundraising on public property by candidates or their representatives, in response to a series of stories in The Star-Ledger about the Elizabeth Board of Education.
A3309: Requires more practice driving for teens with learner's permits and a course in teen-driver safety for their parents. The bill also extends the teen driver's permit phase from six months to one year.
A4335: Delay and, in some cases, circumvents protections for the state's drinking water supply. The EPA has said a provision of the bill that would allow sewer extensions regardless of existing sewage treatment capacity may violate the federal Clean Water Act.
A3688. Authorizes Department of Agriculture to create mobile fresh produce markets for residents in cities known as "food deserts.
S3186: Extends state unemployment benefits to take full advantage of federal benefits and matches future state and federal benefit extensions automatically.
S2868: Gives $4.1 million from the Property Tax Relief Fund to school districts that experienced at least 13 percent growth from 2008 to 2011.
S2316: Bars lawyers, doctors, chiropractors and any other licensed professionals from soliciting accident victims for 30 days from the date of an accident.
S1570: Expands definition of child abuse to allow investigators to label claims as "not substantiated" in instances lacking sufficient evidence but when a child was still "placed at substantial risk of harm."
I'm sorry, but it amazes me how this of utmost importance (the wine), when there's a crapload of other stuff they should be more concerned about.
A-holes. Every last one of them.

I hope these aren't the highlights of the 100 they are passing today. But, look at it this way, you're going to save a bundle after you get your boob job and botox lip injections, Girly!
Whine Party at Deet's.
So I can now have wine shipped to me, right? I get so mad when I would see awesome deals on Woot and such places and not be able to do them because it was illegal to ship to me.
Wooooooo! Score one for the lushes!
Although my new eating arrangements don't allow for much of it, we will figure a way around it.
It has to be from somewhat smaller wineries, though, right? If I'm remembering your post last week or whenever it was.

I believe that was a draft version. It sounds like it may have changed.
Now I can have my wine delivered directly to me....yippee!!!
Girly, you don't have to pay any more to park in someone's permit spot on off peak hours...that should make you a tad happy.
Sure, if I ever take the train again from a station that has its own lot.
