Good morning!
No big plans here. One of my engineers is "leaving" today so after work drinks, and then I plan a night on the couch finishing TGW. And then besides gym time, just birthday dinner for Mom on Sunday with the brother. I think I should start drinking now to prepare.......

While we have ADT, the yard sign is in front of my daughter's house. It helps her sleep better at night. We're old. We don't need sleep.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

No, classes start on Monday. This afternoon is another department meeting. We're voting on new faculty. Always fun.
And for future reference, I've nicknamed our the department chair "The Comfy Chair."

I just got a bill from the purple people, SOMMS. They catered a supper for dance chaperones in November. I won't be ordering my drinks from them anytime soon - they'd probably charge me for the airfare to fly in the rum!

After a show last night, went with a friend for a drink to the bar next door. The last thing I did was pay for the check, then left with my friend, drove her home, and came home. This morning, my wallet was not to be found. I went through all my pants, everywhere I had sat when I got home, the jacket, cleaned the car (the horror) looking for it. So obviously I forgot it at the bar, probably left it on the table.
Drove to work sans wallet (or DL), called the bar. No answer. Called three or four times to no avail. jS and I were going to see a show tonight, so we met outside the bar to check. Nope, they don't have it. Can't be, it has to be there, right? But no, they don't have it. I resign myself that I've lost it. Cancel cards, get new drivers license ... so on my way home I did a quick prayer to Saint Anthony. Lo and behold, when I got home, I don't know why I went straight for the hamper. There, between the dirty clothes, was my wallet. I'm so grateful he's my saint. Thanks moony for introducing me to his superpowers years ago when I thought I had lost my Sweeney Todd tickets.

And the dude said it is prob more like 10 or so if you count how much muscle work ive been doing. I dunno, trying not to focus on numbers.

Today is waiting for a friend to come over and take advantage of my empty partially finished attic. There are about 2 rooms of storage up there (you could actually have a golf simulator up there if you wanted it, I think the last owners did) that are pretty much empty, and he has to get out of his business space by tomorrow or his LL will not be so kind to work out a deal.
I have a feeling it will be up there for a while ...
