Technically, we have a half day of school today because the students are out at 12:10pm. Faculty and staff have to stay here, though, for a series of meetings about technology, which - to me - is a worse way to spend a Friday afternoon.

I have a 'personal day' today - because I am so behind on my life.
Things at home are (literally) piling up, and I have to spend some quality time at the DMV (I'm switching my drivers license from CT to NY), so... had to just take a day.
Which means that things will pile up at the office. But, the home piles are becoming more critical.
I need to freeze time for a month so I can catch up!

I'd also like to get out to take a walk. I feel like I haven't moved since last year.

I liked the pilot of MiSSING, Girly. I just can't get sucked into another show... but, I'm glad you like it.

I'm bummed that 'Gifted Man' won't be renewed on CBS for next season. I enjoyed it.

Just watched the video of La Peters on SMASH. Love her! Can't wait to see the entire episode.

I'm pretty sure all but 2 or 3 of my top shows are already or will be renewed again. Just got keep my fingers crossed for the few.

I have my short list of shows that I hope, hope, hope will be renewed!
I was bummed about the CBS announcement about 'Gifted Man'. The other CBS show people were disappointed about was 'Unforgettable'. I didn't watch, but I know people who loved it.

I just got roped into joining a conference call at 9:30. What part of 'personal day' don't they understand?
