I couldn't make it through the movie "Newsies" so no desire to see the show. Spiderman hmmmmmm I wish "Houdini" was opening.
the next time I have some spare broadway money to spend I'm pretty sure I will play the good daughter card and get tickets to see Mary Poppins for my mom. I would have done it already, but she cant walk far so I am also going to hire a car that can drop us off in front of the theater and pick us up right after.
Lots to catch up with:
Deet - what is this about FGs being out of work? We are still a team, yes?
Even though I've kept busy, I haven't really done a show all year. Which also means I've been watching a lot of tv. A LOT. I was just wondering this week when the heck Revenge is coming back, I'm not watching this series either. I liked Touch and Awake but am afraid they novelty will wear off and they will be the same thing every episode. I am hooked on Grimm (several friends have parts in it) and Once Upon a Time, and of course all my Sci-Fi shows.
And I'm still on season 1 of Fringe and have yet to start Downton Abbey.
Oh ... and I was offered yet another theatre board position. All I want to do is direct, I shouldn't have to volunteer for every theatre in order to direct, right?
Never got into Grimm, LOVE Once Upon A Time.
Marathon viewing of Season 1 of Downton Abbey last night. Was up until 3ish or so this AM. Thanks, Tink!! My friend Brian is on his way to buy the DVD's as I type, and I will be borrowing Season 2 tonight, but thanks, Deet!!

Happy St. Joseph's Day! Zeppoles for everyone!
Mornin'
*mumbles to self: 48 hours, only 48 hours and then the reading will be done and BritTwit will go back to his hole."
As Boobs' friend said "If the show's a success, lawyers will handle him and you won't have to deal at all."
I love Boobs' friend. I love Boobs. I love everyone. Except BritTwit.
Morning.
As per the tradition Boobs started, I bought the St. Joseph's pastry to my St. Patrick's dinner on Saturday.
Disk 1, three eps of Season 2 of Downton done.

Damn, now Girly's ahead of me.
Don't worry...I'm sure you'll pass me by. Probably won't get to more until the weekend.

Neither will I.
Weekend race, Girly?

Wait until you get to the last 5 minutes of the last episode. Best pay-off of the year!
And speaking of TV series, I need Girly to do me a big favor tonight.

Oh, and hubby discovered SMASH on Friday night. LOVED it. Guess what we spent Friday and Saturday nights catching up on?
I'm going to assume that has to do with PLL?
Did he like Smash? I'll be curious to see how I feel about tonight's ep, though I'm sure Boob's BFF will not be a part of my problem.

It does! Youz so smart!
I have to be at a meeting tonight - I'll be out really late. While I have the finale set to record, I need you to text me the big reveal. I'll watch on Tuesday, but I need to know who A is before I go to bed! My cellphone will be off duing the meeting, but I'll pick up your message @ 10:30pm.

And yes, he's hooked. Go figure.
So is J2.
So did you know that Julian Fellowes has written a two-part TV movie about TITANIC, to air on ABC on April 14-15, the 100th anniversary of the sinking?
It appears to be another re-telling mixing real passengers with fictional; I wonder if the two men who died in the opening episode of "Downton Abbey" will be characters, and we'll learn some anecdotal, cross-series information?

Oh wouldn't that be fun? I hope so!
That'd be awesome!
I'm still 50/50 on Smash. If I just ignore every time Karen is on screen I might not dislike it as much.
I'm on the library waiting list for DA S2. I could have watched it on PBS a few weeks ago, but wanted to wait until I can enjoy it on my big TV instead of computer monitor.
I'm very intrigued as to who A is going to be. The show has successfully gotten me suspecting 100 different people.

Well, if Girly can't text me, then you can. What a lousy night to have a parent meeting.
I'm just glad that me asking Brian if he had the DVD's reminded him that he wanted to get them. I didn't expect him to go out right then and there, though!! LOL!!
Moony, we may have a problem. PLL is on the same time as The Voice and Adam!! I didn't watch last week's ep until yesterday! I may have to switch back and forth tonight.

And I also saw last week that Mr. Ian will be getting Punk'd when the show returns....
