Am I the only one who is seriously upset about the man in Brooklyn who lures a stray cat over and then kicks in into the air? Well, apparently my concern does not bother the court system since the man (who has a record of 8 prior arrests) was let free without bail. Saddest of all, the cat has not been seen since the incident and has probably died of serious and painful internal bleeding. Some residents are quoted as saying they don't care about animal abuse because "there are more serious things going on." Are we seeing the "Michael Vicks" attitude towards animal cruelty? Just remember - serial killers usual start with small helpless victims (cats, dogs, babies) and move on to bigger targets. I am no crazed animal rights person - just someone concerned about helpless animals. And now - with the video going viral, it will be happening more and more as others get themselves video'ed doing the same thing. I can see the knock-out punch craze in a new form - one where, apparently, the victim isn't "important" enough to care about. Geez, I'm angry.
I was so upset I didn't even want to post it.
I hope this little motherfuker gets the crap kicked out of him.
(and thank you for not posting the link to the video)

I haven't seen the video - I can't and please DO NOT POST IT HERE IF YOU READ THIS THREAD! Please - don't go there.
I couldn't watch the video on the news. I agree, it is sickening and horrible. I guess some people are under the mentality "It's not my cat, so it's not my problem." It's awful people like this man that make me want to be involved in animal rescue even more than I already am.
I thought I was going to have a stroke when I saw it. Almost worse--well, no, but you know what I mean--were the people on the news report laughing as they watched the video.
The Daily News says " Rescuers have captured the Brooklyn stray that managed to survive being kicked like a football by a local punk — a vicious attack that was captured on video.
The gray and white kitty, which some residents of the Brevoort Houses have taken to calling King, will be taken to a nearby ASPCA hospital where it will be given a checkup and put up for adoption if healthy, officials from the North Shore Animal League said."
The guy has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty.
^ That is gross. I wish the cat had struck back now like the 22 pound cat that held his owners "hostage" in their bedroom after he got kicked for scratching the baby.
This was in reply to Reg, who said the news people were kind of laughing.

Kicking the guy full force in the balls with a steel toe boot is an understatement to the force of pain that he deserves.
Just seeing the still photograph of his foot right before impact and then the poor cat flying through the air was enough to make my blood boil.
The guy is a low life, slime ball who is less important to humanity than whale turds.
"Robinson, who has eight prior arrests, including one for knifepoint robbery...."
Whale turds indeed....

You guys do now we know have a convenient Vision Board thread to manifest these wishes.
Terrible. Since I started following a page on FB about Sammy the cocker spaniel (whose owner claimed to have found him in a horribly neglected state, but in actual fact was guilty of the neglect) I've become more aware of the horrible things people do to helpless animals. It breaks my heart.
His mother is also a twunt:
"That cat is fine, I told y’all the cat is fine," Robinson’s furious mom, Mary Kirby, said when she and her sullen son returned home to the development from Brooklyn Criminal Court. "There’s nothing wrong with that cat."
But there's something wrong with you, and your son.

Gorgeous kitty. Hope she's ok and will find a loving home very soon.
So totally sick. I don't understand it. It's a sick act of aimless cruelty against a totally innocent creature - good thing he was dumb and egocentric enough to both video tape AND share it.
Is that the ****er in Sutton's post above? He looks proudly defiant. Ugh.
That is the cat kicker himself, Andre Robinson. With eight arrests, some for violent crimes, he will be locked up soon for something else anyways. Hopefully for life.
Eww to his mother. Now I wish the poor cat would have attacked him back.
I love the work I do by caring for cats at a local pound, but I really hate hearing about what happened to some or even the dogs. It used to make me sad about all of the animals in pounds or animal shelters. But, as long as they are no kill places, they are in a better place than either the street, neglected, or abused.

It looks to me like the Honorable Jane Tully needs some sensitivity training. She was appointed by Mayor Blumberg, and her job is safe until 2018. Sometimes I wish we elected judges so that she could feel my displeasure as a citizen and voter.

They really need to increase the penalties for animal cruelty.
Did anyone read the Daily News article Diva linked to? Mom may not be perfect, but she was the one who dropped a dime on him.
I admit I chuckled a little at the opening line:
"The cat is in the bag — and the pu$$y is hiding out with his mom."

Good to know because your son will be fine too when he is recovering from the abuse his nuts will get from the line of people waiting to kick him.
Don't worry mom...your son is fine. I'm tellin'ya his nads be fine. We shaped them back into round after we made them flat! He will eventually straighten out of that fetal position. That's just natural when you take several hours of kicks in the crotch.
For those interested, King is recovering nicely, and there are already many adoption requests for the one year old beauty.
