Obama himself was on the ground & pulled the trigger. Bin laden is now a martyr

Let us forget the high gas prices & & keller unemployment & everything else. A figurehead living in a cave has been killed. Lets relect Obama solely on that. If so, the American people are more gullible than I thought. A lot can happen in 2 years.

This may only be the beginning. Time will tell.

If you believe that Obama is cynically using Osama bin Ladin to distract the country from other problems and consolidate power, then you have no choice but to believe the EXACT SAME THING about George W. Bush.

You all are going to hate me for saying this, but Bush was the one who said that Bin Ladin needed to be found dead or alive. CNN has credited him for saying that as well and they are not usually a conservative network.

This caught me dead in my tracks. We were just talking in my study group how friggin impossible and dangerous it is to infiltrate Pakistan (it seriously is one of the most dangerous countries in the world). I would love to more about how this transpired.

I am not sure how to react. Of course, I am glad he is gone but I doubt this moment has us magically leaving Aghanistan or suddenly pulling back our intel presence in Pakistan. Yes, bin Laden was the mastermind of a terrorist organization but his death is not ending our role in the region (unlike say if Gaddhafi did not narrowly miss that hit on him a few days ago, the outlook in Libya would greatly change as the so-called head of state got violently removed).
