Posted: 2/28/07 at 6:58pmAfter you know which schools accepted you, just pick the one that has the easiest, fastest route from the school to Times Square. That's how I chose my college, and I think it was a good decision.

I really don't think I'll be able to handle my older sister coming home on Friday from college. It's basically gonna be buzzkill.
Ugh my dad put me in such a bad mood for today. This morning I was in a rush to go to my bus stop. I put on this Birkenstock-like slippers on. Then he totally flipped out, saying that I never wear sneakers & that I always wear those shoes. I told him pretty calmly that I have worn them like twice this year. Then he started to say that I should wear sneakers instead because I always wear boots. I told him that I don't like my sneakers & that they were only shoes. Then he freaked out & told me that this was why I wasn't working to my full potential because I didn't listen. They were just shoes!

My TA was kind enough to tell us that we can get away with skimming one of the required books for the class. However, the "proper" way of skimming involves reading reviews from an online database, the intro, conclusion, and the beginning and end of each chapter....which all seems like too much work right now.
Oh, and I'm supposed to write a paper on a book that I have yet to finish.

I slipped on black ice running to school yesterday and as a result, my whole right side is twisted out of whack. I'm just glad I didn't get a concussion where I hit my head.

One of my friends is sort of pissing me off.
On a brighter note, my writing TA for my Humanities class said that my paper was the best one he read on the prompt I wrote about. Considering most of class wrote on the same prompt, I'm feeling pretty happy right now.
