I am so excited for this movie - Christopher Guest is an excellent director and Waiting For Guffman is one of my all-time favorite films!
Anyone else pumped?

omg, im already peein my pants!!!!
This looks BEYOND brilliant!!!
And it's coming not a moment too soon. Much as I adore Guffman, Best in Show, and Mighty Wind...my family needs some new quotes. In a very bad way.

Best in Show is one of my favorite movies! I've loved almost everything he's done and I'm sure this will be no exception. Definitely excited!
Looks hilarious!
I love this crew. Best in Show is on my shortlist of the funniest movies EVER.

I have been waiting - as patiently as I can - for this forever. The addition of Ricky Gervais to their troop is perhaps the most brilliantly natural casting choice I've ever seen. I may actually go see this in a theatre, which is RARE.
Can. Not. Wait.
I could talk or not talk about this show for hours.
And still find things to not talk about.
I hope they shot that whole movie-within a movie. LOL "Home for Purim"
"Someone's killed their children and made them into cookies - and I wanna see that!"
ME TOO! Chris and his 'family' have been gone for too long. I'll be there on opening day!
"Irv, the foot-long weiner" - Brilliant!
Favorite movie directed/starring/co-written by Chris Guest: Waiting for Guffman
Favorite movie starring/co-written by Chris Guest: This is Spinal Tap
Nigel Tufnel..sigh.....
OH and a special shout out to Fred Willard. That man cracks me up.

Mine too. "Get the busy bee!"
LOL!
Here's some of my favorites...
"We have a lot in common: We both love soup, and... snowpeas, and... talking and not talking..."
"Don't look at the fat-ass losers or freaks. You look at MEEE!!!"
"What is that a bloodhound? You know what I think they should do? Put a little Sherlock Holmes hat on him, maybe a little pipe in his mouth. Perhaps get some smoke coming out of it. I think it would really get the crowd going."
"Well, that might be kind of dangerous."
"Ha! I'd get a kick out of it."
"Harlan Pepper, you stop namin' nuts!"

Coincidentally, in the trailer for FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, Fred Willard has the Sherlock Holmes hat and pipe!
Unforunately, the movie itself is just awful. Definitely Guest's worst.
ah. that's looks great.

MB - that's pretty direct and scathing. Did you see an advanced screening? Why is it so bad?

I hope it's OK. I loved the other three. And I need some new Guest quotes too!
I didn't realize Ricky Gervais was in this. He is going to be hilarious...
Looking forward to it!

*gasp* Worse than Mighty Wind? (which I didn't hate, but far down on my list of his.)

I think my expectations were so high for A Mighty Wind in light of how much I loved the others that I was just disappointed in comparison to the previous ones.
YAY!!!! It's about time! Even from the trailer was laughing out loud merely at the way Christopher and Eugene LOOK! Another gem-Cannot wait!
