A good man and an underrated president. I wish him and his family the best. Worth noting - his granddaughters were very gracious to the Obama girls at both the beginning and end of their stay in the White House.

I'm sure he did that out of common courtesy, just like all the former presidents called Trump to congratulate him on November 9th. All the former presidents have a good sense of decorum and decency.
We need to remember how all the former presidents treated Trump (even having not supported him) and in four - or God forbid eight years - will Trump extend the same courtesy to the person who succeeds him?
To get back to the original message of this thread, sending all my best to George and Barbara Bush and hope they get better soon!
