Please show your support and grief regarding the tragic death of a cast member by tuning in during one of the most important ratings months of the season!
It says they're considering pushing it back.

And why not? As they suggested, it will give everyone a chance to breathe! If it just so happens that the show premieres to the high numbers they'd expect after the tragedy, it's just a coincidence that they'll be able to command more advertising dollars.

When the show returns, Neil Patrick Harris will be playing Finn.
I am sure they are working on a very tasteful and not-at-all exploitive tribute.

Aaron Tveit originally auditioned for the part of Finn. I think they will bring him in as Finn's long lost brother, Wing.
I hope Wing plays Wing in a special Wing tribute episode.

A Wing tribute episode would be the only thing that would ever get me to tune into that show after seeing the pilot.
And no Ryan Murphy, I don't mean Wings. WING.

Max Adler should have played Finn. Much more believable as a high school football player.
Delaying until then will give Lea Michele enough time to make this tragedy all about her.

Really now?

Is there any better tribute than making Fox and Ryan Murphy richer? No.
Maybe Lea will sing "Wind Beneath My Wing(s)"
Leah has already made this about her.
And for the record I'm deeply saddened by Cory's passing. I think he had natural talent and would have gone on to a very successful post Glee career.

His lisp always bothered me a little.

"Really now?"
Yes, really. It might be harsh but the truth is harsh and Jordan is speaking from personal experience.
It's not that harsh. She is a pathological narcissistic.
They're delaying filming by two weeks to rework the plotline, which means the premiere date should remain in tact, if all works out in the two week span.
If any good can come out of this tragedy, it's forcing the writers to give the show more attention than it's been getting, and work out things they didn't do last season. The original plot for this upcoming season was to basically pick up where season four left off, basically having a season 4-b. So, I think that if any good will come from this terrible tragedy, it's that the writers will actually have to further the plot beyond the lazy season 4-b planned.

Funny, I was thinking more along the lines of people getting Narcan training or maybe raising awareness about Vancouver's safe injection spaces, but, yeah, if any good can come out of this it must be that the TV show gets better.
Namo - I was talking in reference to the show, since this thread discussed the impact the events had on the actual show. Yes, obviously, there's plenty of good that can come from this tragic event that will impact the outside world, but since this thread was in regard to the show itself, I stand by the statement I made.

Nothing can improve or save this dreadful show.
Rachel will dedicate her opening night performance in FUNNY GIRL to Finn. And that will be all the tribute he could ever want.
