I'm wondering if they are even gonna have her sing anything period.
I mean, her significant other passed away, asking her to sing a song about it would be difficult.
If they do though, "With You" would be a tear jerking choice.

Hmmm I didn't think about that. Someone at my work today mentioned that they would not be surprised if Lea stopped doing GLEE all together after this. I don't think she would leave but if the show is too much for her, she might?

Lea Michelle does not get to make decisions like that. Ryan Murphy tells her to jump and Lea Michelle is required to ask, "How high?" Did you guys not read about how the poor thing (understandably) had no desire to do those cheesy live Glee concerts and when she told Murphy he asked her to pick which friend of hers on the show would be fired if she refused to tour?

In fact, does anybody know if she refused to do something and then her show boyfriend ends up dead?

I think she may finish up this season and then be done with it. If she leaves then expect them to cut Chris Colfer off since he's essentially dead weight without his Rachel Berry. Then it can just be turned into the Santana show. I'd be fine with that.

Seriously - do you people have any heart? The girl JUST lost her boyfriend and you're tossing the harpoons? Look, I get not being a fan of her, but she just lost someone she deeply cared about, and I don't care how terrible of a person someone is, when they lose someone close to them, my heart goes out to them.

It's fine to feel sorry for someone for a death, but that still doesn't mean they are a nice or good person. Same with people who die. You can feel bad and sorry for them, but if they were a horrible person, why pretend and act fake? Okay, maybe there are some people you have to be that way for, but that's probably very few people.

That said, I understand people need time to mourn and whatnot. But, I still don't think reworking 1 part of the storyline is going to change the quality of the show. Especially since the premiere was only moved by 1 week.

Are we forgetting that they were costars who were only dating? They weren't married. They didn't have children. They weren't even engaged. (They might've been. I don't care enough to look it up.)

Point is, this isn't like she's an 80 year old woman who lost her husband of 60 years.

She's young. She'll get over it. Or she'll fall into a deep haze of drugs, sex, and alcohol and die penniless on the streets of whatever city they live in on Glee.

It was a love for the ages. It made all other love stories look tawdry. It made every dog that journeyed cross-country to find its owners again feel stupid. It made Shakespeare slap his forehead and think, "Ugh, it should've been Lea and Cory, not Romeo and Juliet!"
