HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! It's MOJITO time! So how is everyone planning on spending their weekend? Mine will start with a Mojito at my usual Friday happy hour. Followed by dinner at Chin Chins. We are going to catch up on all our movies this weekend and go shopping for our NY / Provincetown trip.
So what you all doing? Come on.. make it good...
I have a BIG family reunion here in chicago. Extended family from California, Boston, and Florida are coming into town to celebrate my Grandma's 70th birthday. This will be the first time EVERYONE from my Mom's family will be together in one room. That's my fun weekend. Now, i probably wont be posting a lot till wednesday.
auditioning, work, bar hopping, movies, rest
I'll be doing something "dirty" all weekend...housework,but I'll be sipping Mojitos while doing it.
TGIF!
I'm heading to Williamstown in a few hours.
Cheers.
My best friend and I have been planning to have a movie night for YEARS, but things always get in our way. So tomorrow, after 3 years of trying, we're finally going to get together and make each other watch movies that we feel it is absolutely ridiculous that they have not seen yet. Unfortunately, we only have time for two movies (originally we'd scheduled 7... oh well)
He's having me watch "American Beauty".
I'm still deciding between making him watch "Girl, Interrupted" or "Life is Beautiful".
He hates subtitles, and is really pushing hard for the first.
(Note: I would have seen American Beauty by now, but for the last three years, I've been planning to watch it with him. This is also the reason that he has not seen those other two movies.)
May you all have a lovely, mojito-filled Friday, and a spectacular weekend.

"Life is Beautiful" is such a fabulous film. I hope he can "get over" the subtitles thing because that movie is worth the effort.
"Girl Interrupted" is good. I really liked it. But, I was deeply moved by "Life is Beautiful."
Plus if you see "American Beauty" first...I think "Life is Beautfiul" is a great contrast.
I just thought I'd throw in my 2-cents. FF! Enjoy your movie night.
My weekend... Church picnic/camp-out (rain is expected), shopping, a movie (either De-Lovely or Manchurian Candidate), Church assignments, sleeping!
Patrick Wilson Fans --New "UnOfficial Fan Site". Come check us out!
3 birthday parties and a little bar hopping, perhaps.
Sadly my week-end will be anything but fun (Sorry DAME, but I have to vent a little here!)
My sons' car broke down way out in the middle of back-backside nowhere w/ what we told him to take care of months ago.
My nephew, who lives with us (because my husbands' brother passed away a few years ago and his mom is a total flaky puff)
Totaled his car in a one car accident, seems he fell asllep at the wheel (at 6:00 PM?)
Man am I ever glad that I am not an alcoholic, but I could sure use a good drink tonight!
Ranting and Venting are done.
With that HAPPY FRIDAY!! all

The kid's show I assistant-directed opened yesterday so I'm going to be stuck backstage all weekend.
I do hope there will be some late-night bar hopping as well. I'll need it.
oh, a mojito would be so nice! I am working, taking my dog to a dog run for an afternoon, and auditioning. That seems to be about it for me.
whoops, need an edit. Dame, I went to the Cafeteria (featured on Sex and the City, of course) the other night and had a strawberry mojito. Yummy!

This weekend will find me and my big lazy self in NYC. I have to do some work (ridiculous) on Saturday. I will spend the rest of the time trying to lure Eddie Varley into some bad behavior.
Dame, I'm having dinner tonight at my new favorite Philly Mojito joint, Mixto. Pool party tomorrow. Pool boy tomorrow night.
Saturday night, going for Turkish food and then the new Forbidden Broadway!
mominator, there really should be awards for mothers who deal with such stuff (and don't strangle somebody!)
As for me, my best friend is coming to visit, and we are seeing 'Bug' and 'Bridge and Tunnel' tomorrow. YEAH!
Rathnait, enjoy FB it is great and Michael Wests' Hugh Jackman is a scream!
midtown, thanks! I am just "paying it forward" or maybe just sowing some good karma, I don't know. Enjoy the shows tomorrow! Please let me know how they were because those two are on our maybe list. So any input would be greatly welcome.
Slight change of plan for me. We are starting with a SAG screening tonight of Manchurian Candidadte ( which I already saw) and then Mojitos and dinner.
I will be spending the weekend shopping for a wedding gift for Seany and for a congratulations gift for Corine2.

I will be home tonight because, hurray, hurray, me and my fiance have to go to pre-cana tomorrow since you have to do it in order to get married in church. It's from 9:30 to 5:30. This stinks because I have worked the last two weekends, and I'm not this weekend, and this is how I get to spend it.
Tomorrow night, I will go over to my friend's to have some drinks and whatnot.
Sunday, I have to do wedding stuff I've been procrastinating. I hate doing it.
Thank you, son. They are very easy to shop for.
You can even get them on line. Anybody else have fun weekend plans?
Mojito sounds good RIGHT now and all weekend
Seeing Caroline or Change tonight
Farenheit 911 tomorrow
Golf on Sunday and my then Sunday night my favorite "girlfriend" is visiting from Chicago and spending a couple day, so we'll stay up late, do each other's hair, make prank phone calls and talk about our boyfriends!
Vey cool. Will hopefully be seeing that show next week.
