"you owe me an apology" tink
edit: "an apology for you"
Oh d**r, I'm laughing so hard I hurt.
Where are Rath and DGG? They're missing their party!
Is that for reals? I mean ... really ... wow.
DGG is at a rehearsal. She's going to be so pissed at the fun she's missing!
At least it's kept me entertained on my return to work today.
DD - it is impossible to know anymore....so at this point you just have fun
It's about as real as the puppet
I'm purposely avoiding the thread. And now I have to go.
This cyber world just amazes me on a daily basis. If she's a sock, she has way too much time on her hands.
I know, DD. Scary.
Whatever I missed, it seems to be the talk of the town.
Anyways, just thought I would say hello, as I may not be around much in the next couple of weeks. Papers. Presentations. Light plots. Joy.

You haven't missed it PM - it's still going on, although getting boring now. The "apology" thread.
I read that thread. Or, at least, tried to read it. I'm just choosing to miss out and not contribute to it.
I always feel like I'm two steps behind on here.

It's because it called out two of our own, and has been a nuisance in this thread for a while. But it's old now anyway.
If I had a dime for every attention-seeking thread started by someone on this forum, I'd be a f**king millionaire.
And it doesn't help that by the time I come on here, I usually miss out on anything and everyone else has had their fill of drama.

So what show are you plotting lights for, PM?
The Rimers of Eldritch by Lanford Wilson. It's about a town that gangs up on an outcast and accuses him of doing a horrible act when he's really not the "bad" person. The town itself is comprised of wicked people, gossipers, ... kind of like here, actually.
I have absolutely no f**king clue as to what I'm doing when plotting is concerned. And that's what makes the class fun. :)
How're things on your end, D?

I love THE RIMERS OF ELDRITCH - I did a poster for that show years ago that I kept in my portfolio for a long time. It's a very difficult show, but wonderful when done right. I wouldn't have a clue how to light it.
Very busy here - we're between shows, but working hard on getting the PR and advertising plans going for the next two productions as well as the innumerable little things that need to get attended to on a daily basis. Never a dull moment.
PR work is fun. Hectic as hell, but fun. I'm glad you're keeping busy! Better to be busy than bored.
I'm SO glad you know about Rimers. Outside of my lighting design class, not too many people know about it. Not even my "out of the box" theatre teacher from high school. Usually, he's got a good mind for difficult and somewhat abstract plays...
I'm loving my Patti CD. And my [title of show] and Hedwig. ♥

What's up creepers?
When are we gathering in December?
I love THE RIMERS OF ELDRITCH, too.
And I so copied that.
I've only seen it once, but it was a wonderful production.
"Now, what I heard, ain't fit for talk."
I hereby end this thread.
Yeah, that'll happen.
Well, I'm off. See y'all later!
Ta ta, D.
In regards to Rimers; it's a beast to work on at first, but it's turning out to be one of the better plays I've read and worked on.
We had to do group presentations focusing on transitions from scene to scene. I got to assist one group in the acting department by playing the judge.
