Okay... I watched it from beginning to end and I didn't think it was that great. Sure, it was funny as hell, but besides 1) Will telling everybody Stan's alive and then 2) Karen finding out about it, what else happened?
Wasn't much, I don't think.
balodwin as lithgow.......I can sort of see that. yeah. would like to see how htat goes. lol.
Hmm Baldwin as Lawerence ... An interesting concept... Visualizing- yeah I think it could work! Would be terrif to see him & Norb work together!
it's interesting to hear that the west coast version of the crack-ups is very similar to the east coast crack-ups. the optimist in me hopes this is because debra finds sean so damn funny she couldn't get thru the scenes.
it's like when you watch the blooper shows and someone messes up the same line 20 times. or that blooper episode of friends when courtney cox predicted during the first rehearsal that she would mess up a line come taping time - and she did - over and over and over. it became psychological at that point and she would mess up because she thought she would mess up.
oh yeah, and megan still has webbed feet.
a ponderment. wasn't eric stoltz supposed to be in this episode. i kept hearing alec baldwin and eric stoltz will pick-up their roles from the finale from last season.
why no eric?
Eternal optomist, Robb! Alas, no...it was certainly planned.
Hell...I did a regional production of CHARLEY'S AUNT and, one night, the guy playing Fancourt cracked me and the other guy up on stage. The audience ate it up. So we kept it for every performance thereafter.
ya think? (i did think it odd that there was so much grace/jack time in this episode - it's not a typical pairing.)
I actually missed the episode last night (I was at Carnegie Hall!)
But I'm willing to be dollars to donuts. It's a time-honored tradition. Breaking in a comedy allows an audience to feel that they are watching something special...just for them. When someone REALLY breaks, it can get out of control and that's never fun.
During the whole Idina & Kristin Break debate, so many people never took into account that if it were really a break and really a problem, both actors would have been reprimanded. Perhaps it happened one day in rehearsals and Mantello said 'Keep it!; perhaps it was added to help diffuse the rumors that the two leading ladies didn't get along so well. Who knows? But it must certainly was not spontaneous and a true 'break' every night.
One hilarious line is omitted from the clip though. After Alec Baldwin's passionate kiss with Eric McCormack, Baldwin stood there with his bag of melting ice cream sandwiches at his side and McCormack looked down at that area and said, "Your package is dripping."
To which, Baldwin responded (along the lines of): "what can i say? i like her."
Highlights from the live Will and Grace
I have not laughed out loud at W&G like I did last nite since the first 2 seasons. My partner never even wants to watch it usually, but he was laughing alot too. Very good job from everyone...what is the deal with Megan's foot?
So glad DVR recorded this.
Even when it's not so good, Will and Grace is still the best sitcom on tv.
By the way, Princeton, don't worry about the people who don't like it. For some, it just hits too close to home.
stan is alive???? (I wish I knew who stan was...)

"I wish I knew who stan was..."
Stan is/was/is Karen's husband.
The day after the Emmy's, Megan went on Ellen and said she hurt her ankle messing around while rehearsing Green Acres with Donald Trump. I know that was a few weeks ago, but maybe that's what it is...
i missed it
does anyone know if it will be repeated?
you can watch both the east and west coast live airings on nbc's website.
