Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

As a classical musician, what are your thoughts on shows like "Company" and "Sweeney Todd" that have had actors playing instruments? Do you feel as if they are taking jobs away from the pit or introducing a new side to theater?
Maybe if I were JUST a classical musician I would whine about them "taking jobs," but I find the concept brilliant and the execution even more so. "Introducing a new side to theater" all the way.
5 shows I love?

I love how I've been on this board for years, but probably won't ever be considered for this. lol. I don't even know how it works. And I'm one of the few that still hasn't gotten it yet. I like to think I've made good contributions to this board over the past 3-4 years. Updated On: 6/8/07 at 12:07 AM
