Tarzan, the revival of Les Miserables, and Mamma Mia!

The Boy From Oz, The Pillowman, Henry IV, King Lear with Chrisopher Plummer, Side Show, the list goes on and on...

If I were in NYC right now, what would be your suggestion if I have time to only see 1 show?
Tough question, cause I would pick different shows for different reasons. But overall, I would have to say 110 in the Shade because Audra is amazing and it's only a limited run. Everything else I would recommend will be around for a while.

What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
Haha, there are so many bad tihngs that I am tempted to write here. But I think I got the most pleasure from successfully seeing everything offered on Broadway this season. I feel so priveledged and now I feel like I can make an even more educated commentary on theatre in general.

What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
I am a chemical engineering major with a minor in general music studies. Yet theatre still seems to run my life, lol.

If your house were on fire, what material possessions would you grab on the way out?
Well if my house in New Jersey where my Mom lives were on fire, I would grab her. But if my apartment in New York up in Morningside Heights were on fire, I would grab my collection of playbills (no joke), my iPod, and my laptop.

If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
My mom and my friends would all tell you that I am absolutely crazy but in a good way. I'm fun, outgoing, and easy to get along with. And basically, my life is very much like a Will and Grace episode.

What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
I would love to direct a show. I have choreographed and been in shows, done sound design, etc., but never directed. I'd like to give it a go. I know that doesn't sound too exciting.

What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?
I gave my mom and grandma tickets to Broadway shows for Mother's Day, and my sister Swarowski crystal wine classes for her recent wedding. Recently, I was given 4 sets of tickets to any show of my choosing.

What is your perfect day?
April 25th, because it's not to hot and it's not too cold. All you need is a light jacket. Sorry, couldn't resist. My perfect day is a sunny 70 degree day in New York city, preferably a Wednesday so I can see two shows in one day. But mostly, a perfect day is something that I can spend with my friends just relaxing and having fun. Corny, right?

Favorite theatrical experience?
So many. Hard to pick just one. It might have to go to seeing Kelli O'Hara for the first time in Piazza. But that sounds so lame. If I think of something else I will let you know. I was so moved by Journey's End and Ebersole in Grey Gardens as well though. When I think of one that trumps everything else, I will update this.

DEFINATELY COKE. I don't drink Pepsi.

Cats or Dogs?
Dogs.

Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate everything, except ice cream, which I like vanilla mixed with other stuff.
