Roxy has the right attitude. I long for the day when everybody's mother wasn't an expert on opening weekend box office and Q ratings. I am thankful that there will not even be reporting on Broadway box office sales and wish the movie industry would follow suit.

Interestingly enough, Mayim Bialik is not against vaccinations. When it was announced she would be one o the Jeopardy hosts, people found something she wrote in her book that came out in 2010 and twisted it around. She then, made a very well spoken YouTube video explaining her stance and what she said and how it got totally twisted around. It’s well worth a view.

I still couldn’t get through it, her starting off with “I haven’t done this in 30 years..... that’s get a vaccine!” Is still to me a weird stance form someone who’s in the field. She just really rubs me wrong and I feel she’s disingenuous. Glad she’s not the full time host.
But since the search is back on...... who are we looking for to host BWW? I think it’ll end up being Ken, but I hope for something a bit more interesting.
Mayim's in...for now...

It's reported that back in 2018 Alex Trebek mentioned two people he would love to see take his place. They were Alex Faust and Laura Coates. Neither were considered.
I also read that Levar Burton has been offered a possible position at Howard University. I was really looking forward to Burton's week on the show but he just didn't do as well as I had hoped. He explained what happened on that first episode and that he was so nervous but you could tell he was nervous the whole week. He would yell out "right" when a contestant got an answer correct. It was a bit jarring. There were also many pauses in between the contestants answer and his right or wrong confirmation. I was really pulling for him but I don't think he would have been the right choice. Bet then, it was one week and a lot of pressure. He may have really settled into over time.
I didn't know that Burton had to tape all 5 shows in one day. That explains the pressure. I'd love to see Laura Coates guest host. She's wonderful on CNN.
On all these shows they tape 5 shows a day. .As far back as the 50'a NBC taped original.Match Game and Jeopardy @30 Rock. Attended a few. You showed up at 30 Rock in the AM and tickets were handed out no questions asked. It was fun watching how it was done . Sadly this is dead in NY
He had to be told it was 5 in 1 day. How Alex could do it in his weakened condition was flat out amazing.Maybe they tailored the taping schedule with reduced shows per day.for him.
No idea who will survive all of this

When I was in LA a few years ago, they were giving out free tickets for the next day's JEOPARDY! taping. I would have gone but I'd been invited to have lunch with Carol Channing that day and I wouldn't miss that for anything.
I think Jeff Probst would be good. He’s too busy with Survivor, but a guest spot at least this fall/winter would be nice.
They all film 5 episodes a day... thats how its done.
Bialik will step on temporarily as host.
I'll take Self-Inflicted Fiascos for two-thousand, Alex."
I agree that Sony botched this big time. I loved Alex but not happy watching reruns now.
Reruns were always scheduled to air now, that hasn't changed. New episodes were always scheduled for mid Sept. ( its possible ,for the to get delayed too, but unlikely.)
Lucky if this debacle resolved by the end of the year. Not watching until the smoke clears

Richards would have been back on Sept 13, and now Mayim will be back on Sept. 20. So they have had to delay by a week.
Mike Richards is now out as executive producer of 'Jeopardy!' too

Reasons given were not only the remarks but the botched beyond belief search for a new host.Should have taken 1 of the 2 Alex favored or throw all names in a hat and pick one out.Could not have been done any worse than the abomination of the host search up until now.
I’m just laughing that this all happened because he threw himself in the ring for a boating gig he was casting. Ego got the best of him and became his downfall. See ya!

His career is done.
He will get a nice golden parachute
He will probably land on his feet elsewhere sad to say
