New ipods: Black or White only?

It looks like new ipods only come in black or white. What happened to colors?

The colors were only for the minis.

Give it a few months, I am sure that they will come out with another new one that makes all the current ones absolete.

Only the mini ones ever came in color, and I don't think they sell those anymore.

I for one adore my plain white iPod... it's pretty sharp, I think.

Does anyone think they're going to come out with color ones again? I've never owned one and I want to wait until it's perfect. I also want a nano sized one with more than 4 mg. Anyone keep up with this stuff?

Not sure about the colors, but you KNOW they will make a Nano with more memory. That is why I kee putting off buying ANY iPod. They keeping making themselves obsolete every few months.

As far as I'm concerned, the nano and the mini are pointless because they hold so little. I have more music than they hold and I plan on buying more so I upgraded my mini to the 30gb video and at least I don't have to worry about losing it... (those nanos are so tiny!)

You can buy a color case for it. My iPod is white, but it's in a really cute deep blue slipcover.

The black ones also show scratches more easily... beware.

Got a black 60gig as my christmas present to myself, yes it does scratch easier, but i have a nice iskin protecting it and that makes it all the better. Ipods are great, but I think I'm through upgrading, I can't think of anything more I'd need...60gigs does me enough for space, video feature is nice to have since I have a boring job where I can listen to my ipod while I do my job (watch movies too if i want) and the 20hr battery life is great, only have to plug it in if I'm going to watch a movie (the videos drain the heck out of the batt). It's a great investment.

The nano's are cute, but 2-4gigs isn't near enough space...heck my 20gig wasn't enough...the 60gig seems to be enough for now, we'll see haha..

wonder what Apple will come out with next to make me change my mind about never buying a new Ipod...

They dicontinued them. I had one, and since they don't make them I just got a video. It's a really good iPod, though.

I'm waiting for them to shrink the regular iPod to the size and weight of the old Mini, and to come out with a sleek silver edition.
