haha oh honey I'm almost 20 and I'm still getting mine in!
My first one started coming in last year, right before my first-year voice jury at university. I could barely open my mouth to sing, it was so painful!
Hang in there!! Just be lucky you're getting it over with early! hell, I didn't even get my 12- year molars till I was 16!~

Posted: 1/17/05 at 7:53pmi had all 4 of mine taken out at the same time and they gave me medicine that made me cry at the SLIGHTEST thing. Like, my mom would say, "I will be right back, the phone's ringing" and I would bust out into tears as if someone just told me that I only had one more day to live. It was terrible. But, the pain wasn't that bad and it healed pretty quickly.

Because of a screw-up at my dentists, I had to have all 4 of mine taken out TWICE.
So they go in for the second surgery (thinking it's the first) and slice open one spot and don't find a tooth. Ok, I get that they went on because I might not have had a wisdom tooth there. So they open the second spot, no tooth. Then the third, and the fourth.
ONLY then do they think "hmmm...something's odd here..." UGH.
Not fun. And I had to leave a DC trip (where we were visiting family) 3 days early for this stupid surgery.
If it weren't for the extra drugs they gave me I would have killed my dentist.
