Aww, thanks Misschung. Actually my couch is the color of mud. That thing the bird is standing on is a cloth napkin I put there to protect the couch.
I want to live in Jane's world, or at least see with her eyes. All of her photos are so vivid and alive with color!
Have tried to cut and paste a picture of our Mitzi sending her best wishes, but it failed.
We do send our love and best to Stoli and all who love Stoli.

Alex - part arctic wolf, part dog. Aloof to children, tolerant of adults, loyal to 2, dominant to other dogs but unfortunately will think of most of your pets as breakfast, lunch or dinner. Having said that, he's very sweet!

Were you apprehensive at first about having a part wolf pet?

Yes, I thought he would be vicious, but he's not, at least not to people. But I can't trust him with other pets. He was a stray. As a tiny pup he was almost run over by a truck. No one could find an owner and after a long search I finally became attached to him. I would have never chosen a wolf-dog otherwise. But he is a very intelligent animal.
Generally, I would not recommend a wolf-dog for a pet, but I think this one is an exception. I still have to be careful with him around other dogs. He seems to like some, but is aggressive to others and there's no way to predict it.

I can't wait to be a crazy old cat lady when I get old.
I don't have any pictures, but Rocky, Seagull, and Brownie (my three cats) send their best wishes to Stoli!
Turtle, what are those little darlings' names????
our poodle girl is KARMA. she's 14 now. the white dog is SKIPPY who went to doggy heaven several years ago.
Miss Holly hopes Stoli and Zorra survived the earthquake and also hopes someone will tell PalJoey that if he plays that goddamn [title of show] CD one more time...
...she's going to pee on his laundry bag.
Oh, I'm sorry, Turtle. Quilty and Lolita are celebrating their 17th birthdays in September. That means they're about 80 in human years!
They look damn good, too...and it's all real. No kitty plastic surgery for them!

Fenwyck sure knows how to mug for the camera! Great shot, Elph.
Blue beat me to it-I LOVE that photo, Elphaba. And I love Fenwyck's name!
I had to add these two new pictures of Murphy and Ruby. They are so damn cute.
YWIW, any word on Stoli's health? We are all thinking about you.

Nope, Thanks for asking though.
I am still waiting to hear from the vet about the ultrasound and the biopsy.
I have pretty much decided to have surgery if it is not malignant (if they can remove it). If it is malignant, well, then I will probably just spoil him rotten until it is time. I was advised by the lady I call the "Cat Whisperer" who said not to put a cat through Chemotherapy if it is cancer, because they don't understand what is happening, and it is likely that the cancer will return.
I am just waiting to figure out what to do next, and spoiling him rotten (as if he wasn't already) in the meantime.
I am hoping for good news today.
Well, the news is not good.
The test results are inconclusive. They do not know whether the tumor is benign or malignant, and the only way they can even discer that is if they do exploratory surgery.
Unfortunately, there are several major blood vessel cells wrapped around this tumor (which is attached to his intestine) so they are not sure they could remove it even if I wanted to do so.
Even if the tumor is benign, the surgery to remove it would be very risky.
I am not quite sure what I will do.
I am going to talk to another Vet on Saturday to see if he has a different take on this. But, since they cannot tell me whether or not is malignant, and they cannot even give me odds of removing it if it was benign, I am thinking of just spoiling him rotten and trying to fatten him up somehow.
When the vet says that she is not sure what she would do in my situation, that tells me it is pretty risky, no matter what.
What a ****ty day.
My boys Garfunkel and Simon wish Stoli his best:
And Le Chat sends his best, too
I'm so sorry to hear that Deb. Hopefully everything will still work out well and you can get him fattened up and he'll be okay with it.
You guys are all still in my thoughts.
