oh. Word to the Cheerwine. I was thinking Franzels or whatever, that cheap box wine everyone in Louisiana has at their shotgun weddings.
I prefer Dr. Pepper.
Cool fact: The first bottler of Coca-Cola was from my town and has a combination Coke museum/Bible museum in his old home (which is gorgeous).

They are highly addictive. They serve them with waffle fries and sweet tea.
I may go to hell for Chick Fil A, but I won't go to Jersey.
Texas, born and raised and hated it.
Is that in SoCar, Pengy? I know they try to say it's Atlanta now since it's their headquarters...but good ol' Louisiana is where the first guy bottled and manufactured it.
Dr. Pepper was somewhere in Texas, right?
And fess up, folks, who doesn't love a good little Barq's Root Beer?

Chick-fil-a sandwiches are the best! I had one on Monday.

Christian who requires that franchises close on Sunday. Don't know about his other beliefs.
From the website:
Our official statement of corporate purpose says that we exist "to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A."
He's a REALLY, REALLY old man who is southern grown . . . so, more thank likely. But, they don't discriminate when hiring, that I know of.
To quote Guy, "And the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream is just toooo good to quit buying them..."
The Chic-Fil-A chicken nuggets are too good to quite eating. YUM!
He's actually Mormon.
Born and raised in Tennessee. My job let me travel all over the Southeast for the last eight years, but Tennessee was home. I moved to Jersey last September 29. I miss my grandparents and REAL BBQ. You people put all that damn sauce on it. yuck. Other than that, I love living in the tri-state area.
Yoda, I am coming to the city tomorrow. Want me to swing by Chick-fil-a and get you one? There is a Chick-fil-a in Monmouth Mall. The national owner is very religious, so one would assume that he is homophobic, too.
Robb - Truett Cathay is a fairly religious man - he has stood by HIS principles by not opening the Chick-Fil-a stores on Sundays - even when he knew he could make a lot of money if he did. He does lots of community service and encourages folks who work for his firm to do the same. Chick-fil-a's headquarters are located in a suburb south of Atlanta. The corporate culture is noted to be fairly straight-laced. That said, I don't believe it would be fair to categorize him as 'homophobic'. His son, Dan really runs the company now.
