Ok everyone, which one will you watch today. As much as I love puppies, my sons and I will watch the Super Bowl. My wife and daughter will watch the Puppy Bowl. Cast your vote and if you want to share things like what snacks you had, your favorite commercials and opinion of half-time show it would be fun to know. if you watch the Puppy Bowl, feel free to tell us the name of your favorite/cutest puppy. Have a good day and enjoy!!!

Will you watch the actual Halftime Show… or the MAGA one? What complete snowflakes those people are.

I will have the half time show on but to be honest will not see much of it. During halftime, I am usually making additional snacks and making drinks for anyone that is not drinking beer (they can get it themselves in the cooler). The few halftime shows I just sat and watched were when people like Prince, McCartney and Springsteen did it. I will watch "Green Day" play before the game.

If they win tonight, the Patriots will tie the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl victories in the NFL.

Jeez. Can we not interject politics into everything?
A great day to just forget about politics for a bit. We have the Super Bowl and the Olympics to watch.

Wonderful job by Coco, Billie Joe, Brandi, and especially CHARLIE with the pregame entertainment.

Well, I guess Benito just wasn’t for me, but Gaga and Ricky did a nice job tho.

The Patriots are currently tied with the Steelers with six Super Bowl wins. If the Patriots were to win they would have the most with seven. But they’re going to lose.

Dear Bad Bunny,
Thank you for showing us what joy and love as a form of resistance looks like. Thank you for honoring your beautiful culture with that kind of pride at a time when many communities are being targeted and told to disappear. You made it safe for others to do the same. Best show in years. Brilliant art has always been political. Felicidades!![]()

And Congratulations to the incredible Seahawks, defeating a team that comes from the most Racist city in America. And it made me laugh with such glee that the White Trash Stars & Bars folks tuned into the embarrassing musical Klan rally convincing themselves it was good. HAHAHA.
F*ck the Patriots. F*ck Kid Rock. Chinga La Migra.![]()

My bad with the incorrect calculation.
Seattle had one of the best defensive units in NFL history this year. I believe some of their advanced stats were better than the glory days of the Legion of Boom.

I watched the Super Bowl and while my Patriot’s didn’t win (I’m a Bostonian, but I’ve lived in Los Angeles more than half of my lifetime now), I loved that Bad Bunny gave a fantastic halftime performance.
I actually teared up a little bit watching Bad Bunny’s show. It was just GREAT on all counts. His God Bless America shout out was perfect and I just became a fan tonight (even though I’ll have to get some translations to some of his songs.
i just hope the big orange Cheeto continues to take heat for all of his Bad Bunny hate speech.
I could write so much more, but I’ll just leave it at that tonight.

I am sure the halftime show pissed MAGA off to high heaven and I'm all for it. The bar was extraordinarily high after Kendrick Lamar's stellar halftime performance last year, but Bad Bunny managed to exceed it.
I absolutely loved at the end how he shouted out all the countries in not just Central and South America, but also the Caribbean and then capped it with a simple, piercing message. A brilliant piece of performance art.
Seattle trouncing New England was the icing on the cake.

I loved "Green Day" as an opening act and songs they used for their medley. I was busy making a pitcher of margarita's during the half time, so I missed the half time show. Like I said in another post, the half time show has to be an artist I really like for me to sit and watch it. My wife and daughter enjoyed the Puppy Bowl (before the Super Bowl) and as usual wanted to adopt a dog they saw on the show.
The game was pretty boring for 3 quarters, picked up slightly in the 4th quarter. That being said, the game was never in doubt. I said to everyone at the end of the 3rd quarter that the Seattle FG kicker was the MVP so far.
A good time was had by all in my house; besides family we also had a few couples over the house. We had everything from nachos, chili, chips and dip and hot dogs to eat. I had a cooler filled with ice and several different beers for everyone to drink. (Blue Moon, Corona, Sam Adams etc.) Plenty of soft drink options were also available. I have a well stacked bar and good knowledge of how to make quite a few cocktails. I took tomorrow off so I can enjoy sleeping late.

These aren't normal times. I'm glad Bad Bunny used this moment with such a huge audience to shine a light. Well done, sir!

I disagree Jay. There are plenty of times to inject politics so it would be nice if for a few hours we can forget about that stuff and enjoy ourselves. His job was to entertain not to get on political soapbox. Do you really think people watching the Super Bowl while partying really care one bit about "Bad Bunny" message. Nobody hates Trump as much as lead singer for "Green Day" and even he did not take opportunity to be political on this occasion.

Agree to disagree. The halftime show is like a "state of the nation" moment. All eyes focused in one direction. Politics is for everyone, not just those interested in political shows.

I could reply but not worth going back and forth on this issue. Have a good day.

Not disputing that these aren't normal times. But it also helps to sometimes take a break to clear the mind to be able to reset and have better focus on things. Has always worked for me.

Where did I say he did not entertain? I basically said the NFL hires him to perform/entertain and the NFL commissioner would rather performers not to get political. Like I said in another post, "Green Day" is very political and despises Trump. They did not use the half time show for politics. I am quite sure they will save the politics for their concerts with their fans. JMO. Have a good day.

If you don't think GreenDay performing American Idiot is political I don't know what to tell you.

For all us Broadway lovers with pure eagle eyes: did anyone catch Carlos Falú (BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB, ILLINOISE) in the dance ensemble during the halftime show?

Well, I finally saw the halftime show a few minutes ago on YouTube.
I enjoyed Gaga and Ricky Martin because they actually sang.
Bad Bunny though.... He didn't sing a note, so his performance was basically a man giving a very long speech in a foreign language. My takeaway re: any kind of "message" was: "If a tree falls in the forest, but no one is around to hear it fall, did it actually make a sound?"
FTR, I disagree with TV pundits who have said, "You didn't need to understand Spanish to have enjoyed his performance".
