Well, that is just the preview. There could be more. Unfortunately.
I want to go to that gig, but getting home at that time is a bit of a concern. If it's set to end at 11, it surely won't end on time, and it could be midnight by the time I leave, if I want to catch Adam to say hi, or cling to him, or whatever.

Why is it a concern, Em? Just general safety concerns about being out late at night? I hope you can go!
Yeah. If it's a three-hour train ride back to NYC, that's not really a smart move. When I went to the Kean gig, I was at Penn ALONE around 2 a.m. because of two things: a fluke in the train schedule at that time, and because I had to go get something to eat after the show. I was absolutely starving.
Wicked pointed me to an updated calendar notice for that New Jersey concert:
"Are you a fan of the play RENT? How about the movie? If so, join us as GCU welcomes Tony Award nominee and star of the musical and movie, Adam Pascal ("Roger") to the Casino at 9 p.m on April 4th. There will be a meet and greet after his performance.
Free to all!"
I WANNA GOOOOO.

I'm just hoping for audio and photos!
I'm also just praying that he schedules a show very close to NYC much later this year.
I wanna go too. I actually might be able to work it out.
I checked out the trains too, and there just aren't any direct ones, and none to Lakewood. You have to go to Asbury Park annd then find a way to get to the University.

Intimidating? But he looks so cuddly and smiley!
And yes, take many photos, especially utilizing your zoom function.
I'd have to skip dance in order to go. I want to go so much!
Interestingly enough, when I once saw Adam in a chance sighting, not a performance situation, there *was* something intimidating about him. Not that he looked mean or anything - in fact it had nothing to do with his face, which I didn't see that well - just a presence he has. It's really obvious when he's on stage. He has that intangible "it" factor.
Two shots of dead Adam? *evil grin*

Chloe, you just happened to run into him on the street (or something similiar)? That's quite cool, not to mention extremely lucky! The only chance celebrity encounter I've ever had (probably largely due to where I live, heh) was running into Tom Petty at the Minneapolis airport. He was really smiley.
Sarah, you're horrible! I'm THIS close to posting what I remember of that funny exchange between him and the man who plays the Emcee in the script, but I'll refrain as I know some people don't like spoilers. :)

A few things I've learned to do better next time (mostly in relation to the crust, although it turned out a lot better than I expected). Since my roommate didn't like it (however, grimacing prior to eating it, always shows how you really feel *eye roll*), you all can have a piece
Yummy!
*takes slice*
What about those of us who do like spoilers? *coughPMcough*
Yo. It's Emcee. I don't feel like switching the login, but I'm on Fantab's computer.
Ok.
I have no idea what you're saying.
It certainly isn't him. I think it's more what he represents to me--someone I was a huge fan of for years before ever getting to meet them.
You have a hanging pronoun.... I'm so confused as to what you mean.
From a fan standpoint -- and KNOWING that that's all it is -- I've spent a fair amount of time around Adam. If you're saying that his personality is only some sort of representation or fabrication, I have no idea why you would say that. Certainly I think some of how he is with his fans IS a put-on, but from everything I have witnessed firsthand, and heard from those *very* close to him on a legit basis, he actually is.... well, what you see is pretty much what you get. He's goofy and sweet and just a friendly guy.
I understand the idea of building someone up to what you want them to be, and being vulnerable to making excuses for someone you like (i.e., me and Raul in Cincy), but... what you're saying makes no sense.
Holda back atcha (from Em and Fantab).
WRQ, I understand that people can be nervous, I've talked about stuff like that too from time to time. But you've met Adam twice already and had great experiences, so you have no reason AT ALL to be worrying. Or, at least, putting on airs of worry just to be able to subtly brag to the entire thread about how you get to meet Adam for the third time.

What the hell is "holda"?! The Germanic supernatural matron of childbirth... is there something you two would like to share with the rest of the class?
I highly doubt she's bragging about meeting Adam. I know that I'd be nervous to meet someone I'd admired for a long time - for the first, second, or twentieth time, if it's on a "fan" basis.
