Just to add, that cheeky grabbing by Norbert to John after Schuffhasen isn't new. He did it two weeks ago and John's reaction was the same too. Still hillarious. They always added new quirks to their characters their whole time through together.

Other transition highlights I have caught from those two scoundrels:
John slapping Norbert on the rear after Ruprecht
Norbert strangling John after Ruprecht
Norbert crying in John's lap after the Reckoning

Those two were just so funny together...gosh now its over...

Something clicked and I remembered a teeny more of the end of his speech. Edited, but yeah it was the first chorus of DRN-every chapter has to end, you must agree. It was a joy, it was sublime, a splendid way to earn a dime...and something like and all these people know at heart I will always be a dirty rotten guy.

He also said, "You may be wondering why I would ever want to leave this role and this family." and his reply using the music and script was priceless. John Lithgow was Lawrence in every shape, way, and form.

BTW Wouldn't it be funny if John now lurked on this thread on cam day?

Finally finished reading through your guys posts about the show. I'm all teary eyed now. Loved your pictures Ryan, and I'm about to watch the videos Dre, though I'm afraid I'll need more Kleenex.

Thank you so much for sharing all this guys, it means a lot to those of us who couldn't be there.

Hey, my long posts are usually complained about, it's very nice to have them so appreciated Traci

Oh and see I keep remembering little tidbits, one thing reminds me of another...also I forgot Joe was telling me they have a rehearsal tomorrow w/ Jonathan b/c they're changing quite a few things. I asked if it was Jonathan dancing b/c he's a great dancer and he said not that he could think of he doesn't think it's dancing, but it won't be huge changes, but there will be little things here and there and I'm one of the few people he could say there'll be quite a bit changes to b/c I'm one of the few people that would definitely notice every single one I'm excited to go back now, will be nice to see some lines I don't mouth with. I love Joe!

See Dre, that's why I like making the long posts. Seriously I know the night's not really over b/c I get to come home and type all about it and relive it, also helps me to remember stuff b/c I might have forgotten some stuff tomorrow but I wrote it so I can read it and relive it, you know? And I mean that's why I absolutely love the videos, and our noise.

thanks everyone for all the reviews pictures and videos of John's last show, kind of makes it easier on those of us too far away to see it :)

It sounds like an amazing night, glad you all had fun and I'm glad John went out with a bang! And of course Andrew!

I haven't seen John's video yet because I had to go to work (I am working ritght now as well ...well, I am having my break, ya know) but I saw the Andrew video and I must say Dre or Amanda I don't which of you was the main holler but I loved your reactions.

Traci: I can hardly wait your/my gif on Wednesday

God I will miss John, but I am optimistic about the future.

Haha Annie, Dre was the louder "holler," I think her loudest one was for the announcement of DHP. I was the one constantly going "awwww." Though in John's video, I'm the one screaming for the Yankees, still not as loud. My throat was hurting a bit too, but still I don't know if I'm capable of screaming as loud as she was. Props to Dre.

aww thanks. I guess i do scream a little loud but I was in the moment. and I was the closest one to the camera since i was holding it. But you were good at shouting and screaming too amanda, don't sell yourself short.
