Gotcha.
My boyfriend and I watched Prison Break, and then MEMENTO. We missed the other TV shows.

Posted: 9/19/06 at 4:29amI'm looking forward to the next season! I did like season 1 better than 2, so hopefully season 3 will bring some better storylines.

Posted: 9/19/06 at 2:06pmI'm really interested to see what's going to happen now that Tom has another child. That's the storyline i'm looking most forward too. I love Lynette and Tom. They're just too cute.

Posted: 9/19/06 at 2:16pmLynette's and Gabrielle's storylines are the ones that seem the most interesting from what I've read about Season 3. Hopefully they'll come up with something good for Susan and Bree.

Does Season 3 start this Sunday? I just finished watching my Season 2 DVDs this past weekend and I'm revved up for the premiere! I can't wait to see what happens with Mike, and I'm psyched to see what happens with Gabrielle and the slutty maid. And that creepy Orson guy...I'm not quite getting his deal right now. I guess we'll find out soon.

Love Lynette. Actually...tonight I loved all of them again!
How great was Bree at the hospital?

Oh, God. Bree makes that show for me.
*SPOILERS*
So, did Orson actually murder his wife? That is, assuming that the skeleton at the end was hers.

I need to watch it again, since I got a phone call a quarter way through. If it's not his wife, I'll be very surprised.
The ex-girlfriend got on my last nerve.
Mike needs to wake up. I miss him.

"But Orson! I don't do that."
"Why?"
"Because I'm a republican."
"Well I'm libertarian...I believe in maximizing individual rights."
This show just redeemed itself with that scene.

Jersey, apparently the kid is from a relationship before Lynette.
I gave up on the show last season (hated the Betty Applewhite story and I just lost interest, honestly) but I liked tonight's episode.
Long stringy hair? Ugh! NOT a good look for Kyle McLachlan! Does anyone know his backstory from last season? How did Bree meet him?
Hate Eva as a blonde.

"I am THE meanest person. You're been in this country a year, modify your nouns, dammit!"
"What A bitch."
With that exchange, I fell back in love with DH- I don't love it again as much as I did season 1, but I enjoyed tonight's episode more than all of season 2 combined.
They do need to get rid of the whole Tom's babymomma storyline like yesterday, though- that storyline is just going to become a ff on the tiVo remote.

Posted: 9/25/06 at 2:00amWelcome Back "Desperate Housewives". You took a wrong turn last year but it looks like things are back on track! Tonight's episode was great. If you missed it, it's on abc.com for free.

I second that. I considered not TIVO-ing it in favor of the Family Guy episode everyone was talking about on the other board...definitely glad I decided to give DH one more chance. Hope they keep up the good work.
But...*sigh*...poor Bree. Can't the woman get a break?
Also, is Laurie Metcalf (sp?) a permanent on the show this season? I've always liked her.

I loved that DH was pushing the envelope and being a little edgier and non-PC in it's humor.(Racial humor, spilling smoothies on people in comas, and other delicious nastiness). I also loved how Bree got turned on by Orson's cleaning rituals. Maybe they are a good fit. I am still not convinced the show has recouped since last season. As we all know they tend to start too many storylines, introduce new characters that no one cares about or invests in (Betty Applewhite) and waste our time. They are careless with characters and storylines. we need to have full attention on our ladies. Also, we need plenty for Edie to do-I love me some Edie.
PS-Even in a coma, Mike is white hot.

Posted: 9/25/06 at 11:22amAs I more or less protested last season by not watching (due to inconsistency in new episodes being shown, etc.), I decided to tune in last night. I thought the episode was excellent, but picking up six months after, kind of discounts all of last season, and the season finale (as if it never existed).
