When I rewatched Season 5 a few weeks ago, I thought the Authority stuff was less of a misfire than I did the first time around, but I still can't believe that Chris Meloni never left that underground bunker ever.
I remember when his last episode aired, it was the very next episode after Comic con. I bet it was tough or amusing for Chris to go to the panels and talk about the season knowing that his character was going to die two days later.
When Bill became King, that house got tricked out, so the bedrooms are light-tight. The Authority had beds, too.
I liked it enough. It gave me more or less what I want out of the show. I found both werewolf scenes to be kind of wtf? Poor Luna. I could have stood to see her daughter go with her, but whateves. It was kind of funny how the daughter (Seriously, I can't remember her name) seemed to have grown overnight in the world of the show.
I don't think he's Warlow. I think he was just messing with Jason.
I have not liked Bill since the second season, and I don't think that will change this season. I still love Eric. I love how he didn't even flinch or anything when Sookie rescinded the invitation. However, he and Pam need to get over whatever their issues are and at least be friendly again.
Anyone think that the Andy's faerie kids storyline may get old quickly just like the kids?
However, he and Pam need to get over whatever their issues are and at least be friendly again.
That kind of threw me, too, because I thought it was implied all was forgiven and understood. Especially when Pam was all "who the F*CK is she?" Wasn't there a scene in Fangtasia in the finale or the episode before where he he told Nora that both Pam and Tara were family? Maybe Pam didn't hear, I guess? I hate to nitpick (Me? I know!) because I just love this goddamn show so much. Updated On: 6/17/13 at 12:14 PM
Nora knew, presumably after the whole "We're going to save Pam, because she's family, and be nice to Tara, because she's family too", but not Pam. I think that's why she told Pam to take it up with Eric about who she is, since it's Eric's responsibility to let Pam know. I know that Eric wants to protect his family, especially Pam, but he has been so much gentler about it in the past.
I loved how Tara was still zipping up her pants when she went back to the group to help stop Jason. That was sexier than any of the mess going on with Alcide.
Thanks, Wynbish. I am a huge fan of the series. Been following since episode one.
I immediately thought it was Warlow when Jason was picked up but isn't he just a "spirit" now? How did he become a physical being? That part was confusing for me.. Any thoughts?
PRS, I guess the most confusing part is that the character description of THAT character was revealed on the internet and it's definitely not Warlow but actually someone else..
I could have clicked on the link but the Popwatch article warned that it was a "spoiler." No thanks! So that means it may or may not be Warlow but it definitely is someone else. Very confusing.
I also wonder about Bill's state. Was he being authentic and genuine with Jessica or was it a ploy? The possession by the three bloody women might have answered that for me. Too many questions! We'll have to wait and see..
I'd appreciate if anyone does find out more about him that they label it clearly as a spoiler, because I'll lose my effing mind if too much gets spoiled for me. Thanks, darlings.
I don't know what to make of Bill. I really liked seeing things from his perspective at the beginning of the episode. My hunch is that is playing Jessica. She's made it clear she's still devoted to him so he's gonna use that.
It sucks, too, because Jessica is vulnerable to a lot of that. Bill has been the best parent she's had, and now Billith is throwing in all these "You're the only one I trust" sentiments. He's a predator to her trusting prey now.
That episode seemed so long to me. I went to bed after watching 40 minutes of it and watched the last 20 minutes tonight. Oh, and now I am watching that live pre-show which is just a whole NOTHER thing we need to dissect.
As for the show, I am officially unable to care about the werewolves. I just don't care. I was most in love with Quentin the werewolf on Dark Shadows when I was a kid, and this just utterly lacks wolvenness (lupinity?) to me. That, and I just can't overlook how flat Joe the Stripper is in his acting.
I don't think there was a lot to learn in this episode. I am sorry to see Jessica aligning herself straight into Compton, and I hope that's just for a couple episodes. This could be because I still long for a Jessica/Pam/Tara/Ginger spin-off. But there's Bill, running around looking like a background character who gets killed on the original Star Trek series.
I always have trouble following the many moods of Eric. And why was Jessica moving away in utter fear over the fact that Bill stopped a glass in mid-air? I mean, we've seen her see much worse things!
I've read a couple other complaints about nothing really happening, and I see that. I just rewatched all the vamp stuff from last season last week, so this felt more like a continuation of what I'd just watched. And like I've admitted, I cut this show a LOT of slack.

Join the club. I actually edited them out of this episode so when I rewatch it this week (like ten times, because it's True Blood and that's what I do) I won't have to deal with their nonsense.
I kinda get Jessica aligning with Bill, even beyond just the whole maker/progeny thing. With Jason off the rails, she really does have no one, save Sookie (and who wants that?). I think her fear comes from realizing that his power is seemingly boundless now (which is another reason for her to stay on his "good" side).
My friends that I watched with last night all hate Nora, but I'm pretty ambivalent about her. What say you, people of BWW?
