I've been proud to be a small part of this community before, but never have I been more proud than I am right now, the way we've come together to help and support each other at a time of loss.
If possible, I'd bring a covered macaroni and cheese casserole for all of us to share as we remember, as we never forget.
I'd have to make and bring my Ambrosia and my Divinity Fudge. It would only be right.
Who's bringing the juice boxes and string cheese?
Something tells me some of the mourners would really appreciate them.
i thought those mourners were already given something to suck on...tootsie roll pops, right?
as I recall elsg, you had some pretty nasty posts yourself........I guess you could dish it out, but not take it?
AND....in the title of your thread, why do you talk about yourself in the third person?
pixie sticks?

It's not a fancy memorial, no need to wear a tie.

Some of you people are mean.
Some of you people are Namo.
I don't think *I* have 46 friends. I'm SURE I don't. He's a lucky, lucky man.
BTW, I've got the deviled eggs covered.
Divinity fudge sounds like something out of an RPG.
I'll bring some spanakopita to represent the Greek posters and to communicate our sorrow.
"Where a guy can find a kid!"
Friday night right after the t-ball game. PM me if you plan to attend...
but you could be a goddess on myspace, flitty, with thousands of friends.
Will the guy in the middle be Stephen's date?

God, I love deviled eggs.
Elphaba, before he left, elsgr8 explained the difference between mean posts and the kind that he and I and a few others made, the difference being that our "controversial" opinions and I quote, "they came from my heart and from deep feelings that I hold."
Do you see the difference now?

Namo - does your hatred of Rath come from you heart...or your stomach?
Flit, I think that's a girl, so that is probably Jimmy's date.

Chuckie Cheese, or better yet - Band Camp!
He was a well informed poster. I'm going to miss him here. There is so much theatre in LA, it's rare to find someone who sees so much and is stays on top of it all.
that's two people who've confirmed the top theory.

It's because he's a voting member of something or other and you can email him and he will take you to a show with him for free. Follow the myspace link.
I look at that Chuck E. Cheese menu and I just wanna make out with the dad. I wanna nibble on his lower lip as if it were a thick crust pizza.
I've never understood what people are thinking when they grandstand about how they are leaving and never posting here again because (and take your choice here): a) unlike the rest of us, they have lives, b) the denizens of the OT board are too mean and hurtful, and/or c) posting on the OT board is a joke to those "in the business" and their pals.
Any option they go with is as good as sending out an engraved invite for the buzzards to pick over the carcass, you know what I mean?
Namo, that's just an excuse for rude, inappropriate, whatever posts........people often use that to say what they want, thinking that is ok.......it still is not.
Again, just so you know........your posts have never bothered me, oh they may bite now and then, but that's ok. His were vicious on occasion, that is just not appropriate.
and frankly I have little respect for people who announce they are "leaving" as frankly I find it pompous and self-serving. His leaving only affects me in that I will now have to research So Cal theater myself to find out what is playing here. That's all.....and better that than another of his tirades
elsgr8: tl;dr

But that didn't happen this time, Iflit. This time it's a tribute, and people have been contributing in droves! Over 1600 views at this point. A real testimony to our man Stan. Sorry, Steve.
Namo, how about a roll in the plastic ball bubble with daddy?
