Why, Ghostlight--that was so MEAN of you to say. I'm not MEAN at all. I'm PALJOEY!
I found Eslgr8's posts about Los Angeles theater very helpful, even if only to inform me about what was playing around town. It's sometimes hard to keep up and he was always on top of it and willing to share the information. So THANK YOU, even if you wont be reading this... some of us did appreciate your efforts.

His always being on top of it is one of the things that many of us dearly loved about the man.
Sueleen, thank you so much for the link to the photos. As long as we still have the photographs and memories, it'll be as if he never left us.
And I love his fashion-forward, carefree "YES! I love vertical stripes and I don't care WHO knows it!" sense of style. We would all do well to take a page.
If I made a goodbye thread I would SO read it, but I'd do it en cag nee toe.

Did you know Alan Cumming had the audacity to announce his tony award winning role as the Emcee on the back of his Tommy Boy novel?
Tacky, tacky. Then again, I bet the only people who bought the book (sans me) were Alan Cumming fans...
WAIT! Are YOU Alan Cumming?

Art is artifice, Joey. Did you learn nothing from elsgr8?
I am reminded at this time of some of the lyrics from one of my all-time favorite songs, "Everything Possible," by Fred Small. I was first exposed to this beautiful lullabye by the out, proud, gay a capella group The Flirtations. (Michael Callen, we miss you!)
"And the only measure of your words and your deeds
Will be the love you leave behind when you're done..."
This lengthy, incredibly popular thread is a testament to all that elsgr8 was to so many of us. So much love he left behind.
thank god for myspace!

Papa, I simply can not thank you enough for that link.
i knew that he just forgot to leave that link with those of us who are even now riding on the s.s. withdrawal. thankfully, now we can all share with him how much he is already missed.
Maybe I should friend him. He'd love that.

Doesn't this say more than any of us could possibly say in tribute? "Steven Stanley has 46 friends."
And yet another place to pay homage.

Geez, I have nearly double the MySpace friends he does (and MySpace friends are the only kind that count.) Imagine how many I'd have if I wasn't such a horrible person!
I need to take a shower now.
Anyone have the link for his Manhunt profile?
omg, jp, that's so wise. i'm gonna totally friend you now just for that!
So he totally looks like Martin Short crossed with Doug Sills.
