Rubio's speech was one of the most pathetic (yet satisfying, given that he "represents" my state) things I've ever seen. They weren't even inside of the ballroom. They appeared to be set up in the lobby, and there was no more than 50 people there.
Let's not count our chickens before they hatch, qolbinau. If everybody was as complacent, she won't have a chance! It would be a mistake to underestimate the evil forces of the Republicans and Trumpites.
I am a huge Clinton advocate who still believes Sanders' late participation in the process is good for the party, and even good for Clinton. All the way to the end. He has made her competitive anew, as Obama did -- and as she sharpened Obama in 2008 -- and every debate, every town hall, every opportunity for Clinton to clarify her pragmatism vs. his idealism only preps her for the ugly fight ahead. Let Sanders stay in, let the party coalesce around their civility. The contrast serves us all.
Yay Yay Yay!!! Now Illinois is in! Missouri looks very good for an all 5 win tonight!! Now, I think I can get some sleep tonight...Keep Volunteering ! A little good news for a change!

Given the enthusiasm for his campaign and, assuming his fundraising continues at a dramatic clip, Bernie has every right to stay in the race at this point. But, when he drops out, as, of course, he eventually will, I hope that he leverages the incredible energy around his campaign not only to elect Hillary, but to campaign for Democratic candidates in the House and Senate. He needs to tell his supporters that this revolution of theirs doesn't stop and end with The White House and that down ticket races are just as important if they truly want to move the nation in a more progressive direction. I can imagine Bernie becoming a potent national force for dramatically shrinking the Republican majority in Congress.
"Amen, Auggie."
You're a trip for a long time all you say is get out Bernie, if I read Auggie right, he wrote stay in it till the end, why the change of heart?
Hope you're right HT. My congresswoman is DWS, I just can't with her.

Well said, HorseTears. As a Bernie supporter, I agree completely.
Hillary stayed in till June. Bernie gets to. But he MUST throw as much support behind her as she and Bill threw behind getting Obama elected.
And his supporters must stop referring to her as Shrillery, Hitlery and any other such disparaging nicknames or attitudes.

"Adam, i think it is time to move. Your Gov Scott just endorsed.... Trump!
Everyone raise their hand. I will not disparage the Trump candidacy until he has the nomination secured.
Sanders' new plan: to appeal to superdelegates. Never mind that Hillary has the most votes, the most pledged delegates, and the most states won (not to mention key/swing states like FL, NV, VA, and OH). Why would the supers switch to him? And wasn't his campaign against the superdelegates at the start?

Really!?^ You think what you just wrote? Like Sanders has an ounce of sway while he's being swept in 5 states.
More filth and corruption from that high-flyin' gal that's dragging the Democratic Party into sheer corruption, Debbie Wasserman Schultz!
You all care about this, right? Um....right?

Well, perhaps this will end up helping Tim Canova in the long run. Some of the things DWS has done lately have certainly rubbed me the wrong way - especially her siding with Republicans in deregulating predatory payday lenders - that was truly despicable position for a prominent Democrat to take. I don't follow Florida state politics; how are her favorability ratings with FL Dem voters?
