re: CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. The word I think I'd use is 'athletic'. (and yes, I lost sound too. Unfortunately it came back on)

Ugh, I hate that EVERYONE lost sound. There's no hope for the dvr downstairs. Was hoping it was just my tv!

Norbert nailed the dance on that itty bitty stage

Yup...the good old delay. Second time used tonight. I wonder how many more times they are going to have to hit the mute button.

Dang it!!! Norbert RULES!!!
Wish the rest of the show (CMIYC) had been at this level.

Norbert Leo Butz's performance is as Tony worthy as it was when he first gave it in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels."

Loved
1. The opening
2. Daniel Radcliffe's dancing
3. Ellen Barkin's winning
4. Footage of John Leguizamo in his black briefs

I'm streaming the show online and thought the audio mishap was a internet/connection issue.
Everything in life...is only for now.

I am trying to think where Norbert drew inspiration for that character. Seemed night and day from Tom Hanks' characterization (that was equally hammy on screen).
I just love that CBS is not even taking chances of just censoring people. Now we cannot even see their faces as they do it.

That.Was.Awesome!
It's interesting, I get why Radcliff and Tveit didn't receive noms. Neither had the "wow" factor. But Butz blew it away!

The "War Horse" joke was the best of the "Spideys"

It's so great to see the company of "The Scottsboro Boys" in top form! I was fortunate enough to have seen this show at the Vinyard and the Lyceum, and it's one of the best theatrical experiences of my life.

I honestly don't know much about The Scottsboro Boys, but that performance was enough to make me go look it up. Loved the minimalistic set.
Anyone else feeling like the Tony Award performances this year are some of the best in recent years so far?

I think being at the Beacon has LOTS to do with it.

I wonder how many in the Beacon are texting or taking photos chewing gum and unwrapping candy......and singing along with the different casts.
To seek revenge may lead to hell yet everyone does it but seldom as well......

I can just hear a ton of people saying 'How the heck did that close?" after seeing that "SB" performance...

Did the audio seem a bit "distant"/ not sure if it was deliberate of if the Tony traditon of poor audio lives on,

Loved The Scottsboro Boys performance. I agree that the set was used to great minimalist effect. **sigh** I will just buy the cast recording.
