Wigs is probably Hedwig, but I'm not sure what hit records could be hinting at (Beautiful is already coming next week, so I guess Motown or Jersey Boys) and weddings is super vague as well.
Confirmed for Philadelphia 2016-2017:
• An American in Paris.
• Cabaret.
• The Bodyguard.
• Wicked.

I also saw a Curious Incident clue on Twitter.Where did you find the weddings one? So happy that Wicked is coming back so I can finally see it live!

MannPhan: Ooh! That'd be really interesting to see Curious Incident on tour. The weddings clue is in the Wicked Instagram post in the caption. I'm happy Wicked is coming back because it always makes me happy to have a favorite show in town.
Could weddings be Mamma Mia?
oncemore: Oh god, I hope not. Don't get me wrong, Mamma Mia was fun, but I hope it's something newer. My first thought was Shoulda Been You but that is definitely not touring. Guess that's the one that'll stump us until announcement day. Otherwise, this season is definitely shaping up nicely. The past two seasons have been pretty good - pick and choose for the most part, but the quality minus a few has been stellar.

I believe the Mamma Mia non-equity tour is closing in June.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Just judging by the other theatres they are traveling to, I don't think they are worrying about the size too much.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Facebook page posted a picture today that suggests awfully strongly that we'll be getting Something Rotten for the upcoming season.
Pippin will be non-equity. The current tour will close after their engagement in Amsterdam and the new non equity tour will launch.
Confirmed for Philadelphia 2016-2017:
• An American in Paris.
• Cabaret.
• The Bodyguard.
• Wicked.
• The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime.
• The King and I.
• Fun Home.
Speculated:
• Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
• Motown.
• Mamma Mia!
I just hope Fun Home goes into the Merriam or the Walnut. I feel the show will get lost in the Academy.
In theory, it should go to the Merriam or the Forrest, but the Kimmel Center has this way of putting way too small of shows into the gigantic Academy of Music. They put Spring Awakening, Once, and next to normal all at the Academy. During the most recent run of Book of Mormon in Philly, I remember saying to the lotto lady/house manager that they really should put more things into the Forrest because it's a much nicer option for smaller shows that have no business being in the Academy. Guess we will see, but I have a feeling it'll be the Academy. I do believe Hedwig will play the Forrest though.

does JERSEY BOYS really need to play Philadelphia again!?!?!

I actually don't think it'll be Jersey Boys. I think it'll be Motown, because the whole hit records thing definitely seems more fitting for Motown than Jersey Boys. Also, Jersey Boys will be in Delaware this May, so that would be kind of overkill. I remember hearing some of the house staff of the Forrest being like - please, no more Jersey Boys for awhile. I also updated it to include Mamma Mia, since that would fit the "weddings" clue, although I hope it's something else.
