Trista Moldovan performed a song from "Finding Neverland."
"I'm seeing the LuPone in Key West later this week. I'm hoping for great vocals and some sort of insane breakdown..." - BenjaminNicholas2
Cleveland's announcement also included a visit by the Kirkpatrick Bros who penned Something Rotten...Cleveland also noted they have 32,000 season ticket subscribers, the most of any Broadway Series in the country...That means roughly 12 perfs already sold out per show before single seats sold. Hard to get tix... compelling them to move to 3 week / 24 perf runs this coming year. http://broadway.playhousesquare.org/
SHN in SF just announced next season's shows. .....interesting.
Already announced: Hamilton The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime
Announced today: The King & I Finding Neverland Into the Woods (looks like the minimal piano string staging from a couple of seasons ago) Roman Holiday - pre Broadway (Has anyone heard anything about this project?)
Something Rotten doesn't start until Jan 2017 and is booked through July. So, SF and Detroit will have to wait until 17-18 season. Dallas is as far west as they booked so far. I have the option to see it in Cinci or Cleveland...
Detroit is always last to announce, but Fun Home seems to be on the bill according to the tour website.
Finding Neverland will not be in Detroit. Hopefully The Curious Incident will...Maybe Honeymoon in Vegas...

I think Colleen Jennings-Roggensack (Executive Director for ASU Gammage) hit it out of the park with this season! We are very lucky to have her. It was also announced that Hamilton and Fun Home will be part of the 17/18 season!
A Gentlemen's Guide to Love & Murder Fun Home Beautiful: The Carole King Musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
And "more exciting shows" to be announced, but which aren't part of the subscription.
edit:
From this article, looks like the non-subscription shows will be: Motown the Musical (April 2017); The Book of Mormon (November 2016); Phantom of the Opera (January 2017); and The Lion King (February 2017).

Dirty Dancing is also a season special. I forget the dates, though, as I am uninterested in going.
La Mirada Theatre has announced their 2016-2017 to subscribers:
It begins with "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" Yay!
Next is "Lend Me A Tenor"
"The Last 5 Years"
"West Side Story" Yikes! Musical Theatre just did this and it will be hard to top their production which used the original Jerome Robbins choreography.
It finishes with "Man of La Mancha" which is the musical that I first saw live with Richard Kiley and made me a musical theatre aficionado.
The rumor going around is that "Hunchback" at La Mirada is a co-production with Tuacahn and Music Circus. It's cool to see them do all regional productions - usually there's one tour ("Jekyll and Hyde," upcoming "Little Mermaid". Sad the rumor about "Heathers" didn't come true though!
"I saw Pavarotti play Rodolfo on stage and with his girth I thought he was about to eat the whole table at the Cafe Momus." - Dollypop
