I figured this tour would do well overseas. Surprised they didn't opt to have the current tour continue on into places like Hamburg, Barcelona or Rome(mini-European tour).

Ah hooray for Curious Incident in Philadelphia. I've been dying to see it. I considered seeing it in NY but I'll save money and wait for the Philadelphia show which I hope will be good.

Rent April 2017

Re. Boston, "Hedwig" will also play the Shubert starting in May 2017. The only show I have heard that will be in the new Broadway in Boston season is"Cabaret," playing for two weeks in Jan/Feb. 2017.

Here's the official Kimmel Center season lineup:

So much for all that teasing and they get scooped before the Monday announcement.
Most of those were figured out, but it's good to put dates to the shows. Definitely excited to see American in Paris will open the season and glad to see the Kimmel Center will be giving use to the Forrest and not putting Fun Home in the Academy of Music. I do wish the rumor about Finding Neverland coming had been true, but definitely excited for King and I, Cabaret, and the return of Wicked among others.

Because of the massive size of the Fox? That might be the one I switch out. Or Fun Home.

The theme of DSM is "Most Wanted" if that means anything...

Besides An American in Paris I don't think DSM will get any first run tours.

From what I gather, Ahmanson may announce tomorrow. Please correct me if I am wrong

Unfortunately, I think you are probably right. I am guessing they will have Lion King, I don't know why .... just a feeling.
I am really happy with AT&T's season ..... I think the strongest they have ever had. Now if they can somehow swing Hamilton for 2017-18 I will be a lifetime season subscriber!

The Lion King just came through about two years ago so I don't think it's coming back so soon.
Yes, you may be right. I think they had it in 2013 .... but on the other hand, that is kind of their MO. As I am sure you know, they are doing Little Mermaid right now and they just had the tour about 2 years ago, so who knows.
I think they will do whatever they can do get a family blockbuster like Wicked, Lion King, or Little Mermaid on the schedule every year. But I do love going to that old place, have you eaten at the buffet before the show? It is quite good.
