That's....disappointing. No DEH. No Hello Dolly. No CFA. No Miss Saigon. Thinking that they will add on a show in October or November because there is an 8 week gap between Something Rotten and Aladdin, and a large gap in March/Aprilbetween The Lightning Thief and Waitress.
If you want to see Dear Evan Hansen or Come From Away, you could always go to Toronto where they are having sit downs of both shows.
COME FROM AWAY full schedule. Though I'm still expecting DC to fill in those three weeks in early August.

It says "currently announced North American Tour schedule is as follows"
It wouldn't surprise me if Nashville (hasn't announced yet), slides in between CLE and ATL.
EAST LANSING, MI (Wharton Center):
School of Rock (Sept 18-23, 201
Love Never Dies (Oct 9-14, 201
Fiddler on the Roof (Dec 4-9, 201
Anastasia (Jan 15-20, 2019)
Miss Saigon (Mar 12-17, 2019)
Hamilton (May 14 - Jun 2, 2019)

The Hartford/Bushnell 2018-2019 season:
THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG — September 25 - 30, 2018
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF — November 6 - 11, 2018
HAMILTON — December 11 - 30, 2018
CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY — February 19 - 24, 2019
RENT — March 12 - 17, 2019
COME FROM AWAY — April 30 - May 5, 2019
WAITRESS — June 18 - 23, 2019
Very bummed that Hartford got "Come From Away" over Boston.

There’s a spreadsheet here as well for anyone else that you can read across where all the other announced shows have been posted:

What do we think the chances of Cursed Child touring at all are? I'm aware it's leaning on the side of wishful thinking as this show, much like the staging of the recent Great Comet is immersive, and it's high level effect could be an issue on a tour, But I daresay the immersiveness of Cursed Child is still less than Great Comet. story/script issues aside, every Potterhead deserves the chance to see it, it's quite something to behold.

There's also the "two-parter" aspect of this production; would that be problematic for a tour?

I was talking to my friend about this the other day. I think a conventional tour would be really hard given the amount of effects that need certain stage configurations. I know JKR is really all for sharing this story with as many people as possible, but she also is very specific with what she wants. They will have to do reconfigure a lot of effects, and I’m not sure if they will be able to do s lot of the effects. Im sure if this were to go somewhere else it’ll have to do a long sit down like they are doing in Melbourne.

I personally don't think the two part nature would be a huge an issue depending on how the schedule could be concocted. A small issue maybe, I can see where some small problems could abound from that, but I think the staging presents larger problems.
I think we all know this would make a killing on tour regardless. Potterheads are everywhere, and my fellow Potterhead friends who don't live close to NYC have all said they hope it tours.
Notreallysilent-I do like the sit down idea. It's better than nothing considering her specifics, and heaven knows a sit down production of Broadway PLAY rather than musical would be a huge deal...

Jacksonville,Florida announced their season the other day. We are getting The King & I, Les Miz, Waitress and School of Rock. For Jacksonville's Broadway Series, it is an improvement. But for me, it is still a yawn. The King & I and Les Miz will do well, the other two not so much. Beautiful is in town this week and did not sell well at all. They always offer an online lottery for the shows that don't do well, which I must be super lucky for, cause I always win. I am seeing Beautiful tonight, front row of the loge, for $30.
Looks like the Mormon tour is going to Anchorage!

Sorry that's not clickable; BWW functionality conflicts with adblockers...
So from what I can see from the show schedules on the show websites, Detroit will not be getting CFA or Hello Dolly or DEH or Miss Saigon as add ons. Bummer! I have no idea what shows will be add ons in that case....huge bummer.

Is Bat Out of Hell a full fledge tour? Like casting in NYC? Or is it coming from Toronto and just doing a few select dates?

Cursed Child won't tour, but there will be open runs springing up for the next few years.

Hi all, UK based theatre-goer here. I'm coming to the US to visit LA, San Francisco and Las Vegas, but was really hoping to arrive first in Dallas, to see Hello, Dolly.
I'm unfamiliar with how the ticketing system works in the states, the official Dallas Summer Musicals website says that no singular tickets for Hello, Dolly can be bought yet, however there are many secondary selling websites that seem to have them available (like big stub, dallas-theater.com). If I buy from these websites instead of the official Dallas Summer Musicals site, are these legitimate tickets? If so, why can I not purchase them from DSM and what are the benefits of waiting? Thanks in advance :)
Oo sounds like an exciting trip! anyway I would recommend to always buy from the offical website. The others seem like scams. Since they havnt gone on tour yet and are apart of the next season then waiting would be the best bet. Enjoy!
